I recently bought this bebop 1 with sky controller at a good price from an amazon seller. I was excited to own my first drone. This came quickly and I was set up to fly in an hour of downloading the latest app and loading the battery. It took off and hoovered in place 3 feet off the front room floor. I was even more excited now.I did the land and take off thing several times till I tried to move it. It was fun till I crashed in to furniture and it crashed. I set it back down for a take off and the thing lifted, the motors went full power and it flipped over on take off. I was shocked and re-oriented it from the app but it still flipped on take off.I thought great,

Just got this in the mail from Amazon a few days ago and so far the drone has performed decently. I'm not going to hash over the features it has because most of the reviews on here are correct. Build quality is 8/10 for what you're paying for. features are 9.5/10 just because of everything this little guy can do. photo and video quality is decent but no wear as good as you'll get with a go pro black edition and gimbal but that will run you $700-800 plus the price of a quadcopter. I recommend that if you're looking to buy a drone that you should learn some of the basic rules of flying drones in regards to the FFA and Watch the videos on YouTube from Parrot,

Received this to test from Parrot recently and after my first flight I was amazed.I had previously owned the AR Drone 1.0 and the 2.0 and enjoyed using them. However I found them to be difficult to control and it took a lot of practice until you got to the point that you could fly with confidence.With the skycontroller however that confidence comes almost immediately as you feel that you are in complete control. The bebop drone is so stable that any anxiety or worry about the drone misbehaving or drifting is replaced with what it should be .....the sheer joy that this drone does what Parrot said it would do...fly under complete control. Bebop is a completely new experience .I would recommend the Skycontroller and the Bebop be purchased together.

Easy to set up and somewhat easy to use. Online documentation could have been better if more detail had been included, such as operation of the drone itself and the camera. I have only flown it a few times, and I assume that with more use the fine points of operation will become apparent. I bought the Drone/Skycontroller package and am glad I did because the controller appears much easier to operate than doing so on an Iphone 6 plus. The controller will also hold a larger ipad or ipad mini when I am able to get one. The package came with a hood for shielding out the sun but I haven't needed to use that item yet. The drone came with two batteries, as did the controller.

Overall it's a good drone, it's very advanced so there is a lot that can go wrong. Make sure you update the drone's firmware and the sky controller's software prior to flying. Parrot just released free flight pro, which is a flight ap that replaced free flight 3. All the software on the controller and the drone must be updated in order to get a camera picture and fly okay. You can update the drone over wifi but the controller must be updated with a USB drive, which is a little problematic, but okay. If your camera doesn't work with the sky controller this is probably why...update it.

Love this drone. Everything is ready to fly out of the box. The drone is lightweight, compact, yet made of strong durable materials. It's got a nice 14-megapixel camera nicely integrated into the drone's nose. The Skycontroller adds a lot to the flying range, and it feels great to have real joysticks.

This is my second drone from Parrot and I have to say - it's fantastic. Parrot have really improved their hardware since the first versions. It's robust, small and very easy to control, especially with the SkyController. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality quad.

I would ignore the bad reviews. This thing works remarkably well and have had no fly off issues. Very well made, great quality and design. If you are looking for an out of the box, top of the line drone. This one is worth a heavy look.

This is a great drone for the money. Skycontroller is a necessity in my opinion as my 11-year old son would have trouble flying from a touch screen. We're having a lot of fun.

The battery is really small, I only fly 7 min for one battery. But the sense of controlling is best and the remote controller is much better than DJI's

I Can't get my parrot Bebop to turn off with out taking out the battery It turns on fine
