This arrived yesterday. Today excitedly I opened it up. I've not had chance to fly it yet, but though it best to warn people when buying this of what I've discovered before it's even been used.Issue 1.The battery compartment is a very snug cut. The battery cover would not come out. After paying over £200 you want to be as careful with this as possible, so every attempt would not remove the cover with the little clip. Ultimately the inevitable happened that the little clip broke. The cover is not used really other than storage so not such a big deal, but however small, I've just broken a piece of this product within the first 10 minutes or so of opening it.So, ok I can live with that,it is just the cover etc, and so I used tweezers to very carefully pull the cover out. I tried an actual battery (you get two in the box which is nice) to check the fit, and sure enough that too fit too snugly in, so that the clip would not release it and let me lift it out.Wincing I tried carefully again, and again (not wanting to break the clip of an actual battery this time) and got it out with clip intact. This was not easy. There is no way though, those little clips will last and i'm sure many people like myself will break them.I've had to resort to putting the battery cover, and battery packs not all the way in so I can lift them out without damage. They are in enough to not stick out, or in the case of the battery work the drone, and secure enough not to fall out, but they aren't in all the way as intended. So in sum this is in my opinion and warning to you of a ludicrous design flaw, that I notice no one has mentioned on a YouTube video or article. Not sure if this issue is just with this particular design of drone (Darth's TIE), but if you buy this be careful. I truly believe there was no way of removing that cover for me without the break I had. I was being incredibly careful. Now on to the next issue which will most likely be with all drones.Issue 2.The box lighting up and playing music/sound effects is great. Amazing the first time, still good second. After a bit though, opening the box becomes a bit of a pain. You can't stop it playing the sounds, it's amazingly loud for a little speaker (trust me I mean reeaally impressive volume as in everyone in the house will hear it) and there's no switch to turn that off. You lift that top half of box up, brace yourself Star Wars is coming to your ears whether you like it or not!It says you can charge the box when the batteries in that run out, but let me tell you when they eventually do run out, I'm not sure you'll be in a hurry to charge them.So both issues, would easily have been avoided with a little more thought, and for the price of these drones, it astounds me such silly issues were not addressed by an form of Q & A.Issue 1, a spring system, latch or button catch. There issue sorted.Issue 2, a simple on and off switch. Job done. You have to ask yourself why these silly, silly, things weren't easily avoided.Madness...

If your a Star Wars fan and have flown drones before and you can meet the price tag, then this is a must have. I had flown standard remote control UFOs and mini helicopters before that were made from foamy polystyrene which ended up broken but this thing, although lightweight, is definitely more sturdy than that. Parts are very neatly stored in the box and they even give you a screwdriver on the side of the remote. What more can be said about the display box? It's fantastic! If you've not flown a drone before then don't start off in a small room - it's fast even in training mode and you'll have a crash. Use the training cage for the first few times and go to a large room or outside with no wind or rain.Work your way up the speed levels over time and don't move up a speed until you complete a full flight without crashing on a lower setting.I agree with a poster below about the battery fitting tightly. I've snapped the tiny catch on one of them but it doesn't affect the flight at all which is good to know. Just use the blunt end of the screwdriver to wedge it out.

Awesome. However if you have never flown a drone before, DO NOT BUY THIS AWSOME FLYING MACHINE.Go practice first as this drone requires a level of skill to swish it around the house or the park. Very fast for its size with some great features on the control. Needs some manual trim feature as mine goes backwards when no inputs are placed on the controller.Yes its noisy its a quad copter!!!! What do these people expect.Great fun, Great looking model and a fantastic addition to any star wars collection.
