This is a fun LEGO Star Wars kit figure, standing about 24cm (9.5") high. It's straightforward to build, with easy to follow instructions and no tricky bits to it. The gun that comes with it fires a long "missile" (see the spare attached to the side of gun) and it fires powerfully enough not to disappoint, without you having to worry excessively about anyone losing an eye. With play, some of the leg and arm armour can come off, but it's not a major issue. (You can always glue troublesome parts in place to put a stop to that.) Posing is assisted by a good degree of articulation, which I've tried to show in some of the pictures I've uploaded. Anyway, it's pretty easy to get a pose you're happy with, balance permitting, and the joints are stiff enough to ensure limbs stay where you put them. I particularly like the helmet and hose, which I've shown detail of. It's really nicely finished, and quite pleasing to look at. One other thing I've captured in the pics is that this figure is an absolute dust and fingerprint magnet. All in all, a nice figure, that's fun to build.

This particular Lego Star Wars line aims to fill the gap between Lego and action figures - the characters consist of a poseable skeleton covered with plates representing armour or clothing. This release depicts one of the new-look TIE Fighter Pilots as seen in The Force Awakens and presumably The Last Jedi.Considering the difficulties in creating a convincing human figure with moveable joints from Lego bricks, these are pretty impressive; the troopers and other armour-clad figures such as this one work particularly well. There are a number of small pieces and the build does require a delicate touch at times, so this set is best suited to children aged about 9 and up.The poseability is excellent and it's solid enough to stand easily; the laser rifle included even fires a projectile at the flick of a switch. As always with Lego - particularly the licenced sets - it's a bit expensive for what it is, plus it's difficult to imagine how the pieces included could be used to build anything else. Nevertheless it's sure to please young (and young at heart) Star Wars fans.

This Star Wars Elite Tie Fighter Pilot model is great fun to build, acting either as a model or as a toy. The figure is one of a series and is aimed at 8-14 year olds. The set has 94 pieces (far less than the Chewbacca model in the same series) and it is a fairly easy build. You get the varying bags of pieces, along with a ‘head piece,’ which does give the figure a good finish and good expression. The model uses ball joints, to allow you to pose the figure and it also has blaster rifle, as well as detailing in breathing equipment and helmet. With an easy to follow instruction booklet, this is a great toy. Lots of fun to build, it is sturdy and stands alone. Good quality and lots of movement, this is good value and excellent quality, with lots of play value. .

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 40 year old brother in law.Arrived very promptly with Prime and was securely packaged in a cardboard box with huge bubble wrap to prevent crush damage. The item is the expected high quality LEGO genuine product and the "lucky boy" built it on Boxing Day and was very pleased with the result. When built the kit stands about 9" tall and you can move his limbs to pose him how you like. He also carries a spring loaded gun which can fire projectiles. It's pretty sturdy when built and won't just fall to pieces at the drop of a hat.I wouldn't recommend for younger children under 8 or so due to the small parts and complexity of building but for older kids it's a greatgift!

Our son enjoys building, playing and displaying his Star Wars LEGO figures. This one from The Last Jedi is a fantastic addition to his collection. It has superb attention to detail with stripes, decorations and weapons. It is moveable for varied play scenarios and the blaster rifle comes with extra ammo! This, along with all his others, seem to stand up to hours of play with no ill effects. On the occasion they do come apart, you just snap them back together and carry on with the battle!!The instructions are easy to follow and he builds them with little or no help.Another perfect gift for your favourite Star Wars fan as with LEGO and Star Wars combined, you know they will be happy!!

I’ve had a number of these, or I should say I purchased a few for my lad, we’re both Stars Wars and like lego but not keen on the ones that take an age to build then start falling apart as soon as you move them. These are great, not as easy to build as I’d thought they would be but great fun doing, you then have a great detailed figure that is sturdy, looks great on display or playable if you prefer, this is the smaller of the models which tend to have around 100 bits. The Elite TIE Fighter Pilot Toy figure is very detailed, comes with blaster rifle with spring-loaded shooter, the head set up is very detailed.Very pleased, I now have 6 of these and they look great

This tie fighter pilot is quick and easy to build. It is really cool as it has distinctive parts, there is a flexible hose that attaches to the mask and to a control panel with buttons (like Darth Vader). The large gun the pilot carries is great because it literally shoots arrows like a gun, you press the trigger with your finger and it shoots. As the arrows are see-through red I'm thinking that it's actually a laser in the film.Quite a fun figure to add to your collection, it's great when you have a few of these figures as you can build a scene. Great fun!

Another in the play and display Star Wars figures series now available from Lego. The Elite Tie fighter pilot stands 24cm high when complete, suitably a little shorter than big Chewbacca! Good details on the helmet and breathing apparatus with a springloaded blaster which works easily. the figure has posable arms and legs. Rather dark and scary!

Everyone loves Star Wars (don't they?) and everyone loves Lego (yes?). This figure is relatively straight-forward to construct, and once you've finished it, you essentially have an action figure. There's about 100 pieces to this, and you'll have it built in a couple of hours. The only drawback to only having one figure is that you want them all.

These are great Lego models. They have a good level of challenge to the build, not too easy or hard, and it’s great to be able to pose them with ball joints for maximum effect afterwards. This model is pretty robust and stood up to some play too. A really good entry level model for new younger Star Wars fans for a fair price.

Brought this when it was reduced . It arrived on time and was a very good build nothing to complicated, very easy for a child to build. Will go well with the rest of the collection
