Okay first things first, the overlay on the video is not proved out of the box with the anafi, but it does look great. There are tutorials on youtube on how to get it working. Well, this is my very first every drone. It took me a while to decide on getting this, but I am not disappointed. To fully enjoy this beast, you will need to download the free-flight app from the app store or google play store (its free). you can fly without it but you will be missing out on so much functionality. There is no manual with the drone and you only really realise what this drone is capable of by going through EVERYTHING on the app. I can not compare this to any other drone as this is my first, but this drone is epic.

This is a great purchase. The stability is awesome it hovers very well and is responsive. Video and picture quality is really high quality and even in auto mode it copes well with exposure and if your into photography manual mode offers you loads of options. The tilt of the Gimbal going vertical is something that others don't offer so is a bonus for more creative shots as is the zoom which really surprised me on quality. Not having obstacle avoidance is not something that bothers me because at times it can be a handicap. The extra preprogrammed flight features such as cameraman, boomerang etc are very good and offer automated creativity.

I spent some time researching drones, looking at an affordable and portable model within a reasonable price range.The Technology has moved forwards quickly and Parrot have produced a drone that competes with the current market leader DJI.As a photographer I wanted a drone that could take good quality RAW images and was portable enough to fit into my camera bag (ONA Prince Street Messenger)I'm new to drones and have been put off by the noise of some models including the popular DJI Mavic Air. The Parrot Anafi is light and comparatively very quiet.NOTE: Some online reviews mention buggy software and high cost of in-app purchases but these have been largely addressed - In-App Purchases are now

Amazon really came good on support and obviously learnt from past reviews. My skycontroller 3 wouldnt work (would charge but not pair to phone), maybe faulty usb a slot. Amazon reolved the issue within hours and obviosuly worked closely with parrot on improving the customer support, good job amazon and thank god for parrot!!! This is a worthy, and cheaper alternative to the Mavic. (Just that unfortunately the anafi does not have obstacle avoidance; makes u a slightly more cautious pilot which is good).Drone flies so nice, stable even in gusty winds (although the software will alert you to the fact. Image quality is the 'nuts'

Awesome little drone, packs away really small and quick to set up, picture quality is outstanding and very, very stable. Battery life is around 20 mins + and the drone is very quiet.There’s no object avoidance but that doesn’t help with tree branches and cables anyway.The only real negative is just be careful of the memory card holder, it’s the same as in some cellphones and isn’t really that durable, but you can download from the drone through the cable or Wi-Fi so not really an issue.The big plus is you can charge it with an external power pack in around an hour.You have to buy “Follow me” and “Flight-plan” but they’re just 99p each but for that I’m surprised it’s not included

First off the supplied cable does not fit the iPhone 11 pro, I called parrot who said I had to go out and buy an old iphone charger for an iPhone 8 or below.You only get one lead to charge the battery and controller so you can do both at the same time.I've had a quick go on a small field and I'm surprised how good this drone is as I've never owned one before and felt in control of it from the start and all the settings are quite straight forward and plenty video tutorials out there of you get stuck.I like the pouch for the drone but seems pointless as you have no where for the controller.Still got a lot of practice to do but so far I'm glad I went with the Anafi

I get awesome video footage, that exceeds my amateur needs, from this drone. My control skills are rubbish so I use 'orbit' 'follow-me' and the inexpensive 'flight plan' features in the Parrot app. I got up to speed with flying a year back with a £100 mjxrc GPS drone. In comparison, the Parrot app and hardware are massively more competent, convenient, safer and confidence building. Your own assessment depends on your starting point. I could have saved that £100 but I wouldn't be as impressed as I am with the Anafi. With a bit more flying experience than zero this drone is going to fulfil my every known need.

i could only afford a returns drone.. WOW what an amazing drone ..so i pressed take off and it rose and hovered perfectly . it just stops and sits awaiting your next command .. no need to know anything about flying ..camera and video like something of a david attenborough wildlife film. take off from hand just throw and of it goes. follow me mode outstanding. mapping mode available ..circle you mode available . have only used basic functions at moment .. the price unbeatable for what i would call a professional drone. i may save up and get the headset . no negative comments at all

This compact drone is excellent choice for flight experts and filmmakers. With many camera resources, 180-degree vertical camera, 4K UHD films and 21MP photos. It has also other modes as plus sports 2.8x lossless zoom. This drone is extremely lightweight and fast. There is a nice drone cover, but nothing for the control. Battery life is reasonable with max 25min life. Negative aspects: lack of obstacle avoidance, no additional battery and other flight modes need to be paid. I'm really satisfied!

Lightweight and easily portable drone. Included is a compact and sturdy travel case, which fits the foldable drone but not the controller. Spare propellers are provided, as well as the 8 already fitted.There is a safe land/launch button which gets the drone to hover at approximately 2-3 feet off the ground initially, & helps land quickly & safely without needing much thought.Great for beginners to pick up and get going quickly, though with enough settings for seasoned drone professionals

The picture quality was ridiculously incredible, the stability was like a stone in a blizzard, and the battery just didn't drain... but... I bought mine for a trip to Australia and in the first day, three connection inside the controller became loose and I couldn't use it at all.. a few people have had the same issue, and while I'm sure Parrot will fix /replace, it spoiled the entire rain I bought it... don't get me wrong, after seeing the quality of the picture, I would definitely buy again

Great drone for the price. Compact and lightweight. Amazing camera and very easy to use. Love the fact that batteries have a USB-C port for charging on the go. Anafi is responsive, fast and fun to fly. A 4K camera, 3-axis gimbal and dedicated zoom rocker you can get closer to the action you are filming. A great app with active-follow and fly-by-wire are available with in-app purchase. A great drone for the prosumer or newbie that's looking for quality footage and a pleasant drone experience.

This drone is so compact and lightweight. I was amazed how easy and quickly set up/calibration was. So quiet and surprisingly simple to fly with the controller connected to your smartphone, camera and video performance is just stunning, average 22/23mins flight time. So many features in the user friendly app, I love the follow me function(in app purchase) but works really well, slightly disappointing re charge times 3.5-5hrs+ but overall an amazing flying video camera for beginners or pros.

Had only few short flights due to bad weather, yet the drone made a strong first impression.Nice sturdy box, premium appearance.Grey plastic body, sturdy arm joints, quality finishes. Not waterproofed, do not fly if rainy.Camera is the best feature.PROS: quality product, decent battery life, it does as it says on the tin,CONS: Difficult to fly in urban areas due to strong WI-FI interference, lack of obstacle avoidance, app's minor design deficiencies, and feature functionality issues.

If you getting into drones specially for photography this drone should be in your short list. It's very compact, light, it shoots 4k and the gimbal just makes every image look smooth and professional.I never owned or flew another drone before and I felt like an expert after 10 minutes. It takes off and lands by itself, it self stabilise, it returns home automatically, how easier could it be.I haven't taken it to a park and done a proper speed test yet but it feels very agile.
