The first thing that struck me when unboxing the hairdryer was the lightness but robustness of the construction, finished in a beautifully tactile matte blasted soft gold colour with various transparencies and textures it's a good looking unit.But of course, the important element is the drying and it certainly packs a punch. 3 speeds and 3 temperature settings ensure you can find your optimum preference and the whole process is literally a breeze. I've had many hairdryers over the years but none as efficient as this and because of that my hair tends to feel it keeps nourished a lot better.

I think something may have changed, because I've seen reviews stating this is supposed to be compact, and it isn't.. but there is nothing in my description or on the box which mentions this. It's a regular sized hairdryer, but I do find it nice and light compared to some others. I've had no issues with it after daily use, and no problems with frizzy hair. However, it doesn't seem particularly quicker than my previous one, and the highest temperature does seem to get too hot after a while, so be careful with that.

This review is based upon my daughters comments on one use. This is the best hair dryer she has used. It is powerful. It is not like some hairdryers seem to rely on very hot air. This dries well because of the power without too much heat which must be good for the hair. Hair was less frizzy than usual. It is a nice weight. Easy to use. versatile because of its different settings. She is well impressed and recommends this as the best hair dryer she has used. If my daughter says it is good, it must be. Recommended.

I'm impressed with this basic hairdryer from Remington. I've had driers that have cost much more than this one, that haven't performed as well.There's nothing flash about this dryer, it does exactly what it says it will, with no frills or fancies.It's really easy to use, very light in comparison to others that I've used and fairly quiet too.I had no difficulties in drying my shoulder length hair and I believe that the ceramic does reduce the static in my hair.A well established brand, a good quality product

My biggest bug bear with hairdryers, are short cords, which mean you end up having to style your hair close to a socket. This Remington dryer has a long cord which allows me to sit or stand with plenty cord to spare.I don’t need the diffuser but I did try it in and it fitted securely to the dryer.I found the dryer powerful with a range of heat and speeds so it ought to be suitable for all hair types.Sleek design.Quick drying and not too heavy to hold.Competitively priced.Recommended product.

Compared to my previous hairdryer this is lighter weight, and has a more powerful blast. It has enough settings to allow good control of both the heat and strength of the blast. The diffuser is effective, although having curly hair I don't have a use for the other two nozzles. It doesn't cause undue frizziness on my hair (which is inclined to frizziness is given half a chance), although I'm not sure how you would validate the '90% more ions'.I can't think of a reason to deduct any stars.

I like this hairdryer. If looks are important it looks quite sleek and smart. It comes with a diffuser and condenser. Although not particularly light weight I found it easy to handle. There is a hook for hanging it up but I find I rarely used these, The shape made it easy to grasp It has 3 heat settings and 2 speeds. It dried my hair quickly and I was pleased with results. I would have liked a bag to keep it in which would also help if travelling but other than that I like it very much

A nice hairdryer. Nice shape which sits well in the hand whilst you use it without having to be a contortionist. There are 3 heat settings and I only needed the lowest, and it didn't strip the shine from my hair. There are 2 (or is it 3) speeds and I only needed to first, so all in all there is a lot of choice. The nozzle slips on and locks quite easily. Still fairly heavy, though, so I can't use it for long. That is the reason for not giving it full marks. Other than that, very good.

This is a hairdryer without frills - it just comes with a nozzle attachment and it's plain black. However, it's also nice and light, and dries hair really quite quickly.The power switches are on the back of the handle and this took a little getting used to, as I find they are usually on the front. Once I'd got used to this, I was really pleased with this hairdryer. It's light, dries your hair quickly and is very reasonably priced.

Looks well made. Is a little bit too big for me but quite usable. The fan and heat settings are operated from to thumb switches at the back - 3 heat and 2 fan. There's a trigger button which gives a cool boost when on hot. It comes with a fan-heat direction nozzle and a captive lead with UK plug. The settings are good as it goes from quite cool to very hot. Time will tell how durable but it loos well made and is quite affordable.

This is a very nice mid-range hairdryer. It feels comfortable in the hand, and I like the fact that it blows more air at a slightly lower temperature – which has to be good for your hair.The diffuser and the two styling nozzles give you a lot of control and allow you to chose between a smooth finish and a more “tumbled” look.It’s well designed and well made, and looks good. Reasonably priced at just under £45.

This hairdryer is a massive bargain for great results. It’s heavier than some, but the effect and the speed is great for need. It has some clever features like a hanging hook for when it’s hot after use or for easy storage and a removable rear grip to enable cleaning. The concentrator heads are good, they are Interchangerble which means that it to get a good direction you have to exchange them each time.

So simple and uncomplicated, three heats, two speed, slide switch, with a cool shot that is effective in a second or two. Absolutely the sort of thing a girl in a hurry needs. and a nice power rating also and available at a very genuine price. Just what most people need- no complications. Used with the concentrator, it gives quite intense heat. The concentrator is quickly fitted with a quick twist.

This is great for efficient home use before work or on other occasions where you need a good blow, but do be aware that it might wake up half the neighbourhood in the process.It's very powerful and rather noisy, but works just like we wantThe settings are easy to understand and it looks professional.It's quite big, so it's not really ideal for travelling, but for everyday use, it's fantastic.

I was really surprised at how good this hair dryer was in comparison to my last much more expensive dryer. It is light to hold and gives a good blast of air to dry quickly; on the hottest setting it does not get too hot to hold, which is amazing. Really recommended for a quick morning dry and without leaving your hair looking frizzy. The diffuser is really well designed. Quality product.
