I am unsure as to why these had a negative review before. I use them for my Lacie Rugged external drives as a bit for extra protection and find them to be very well made. I originally bought one of these cases around 2 years ago in Tesco and was really happy to find them on Amazon for half that price. The zip is great quality, the pouch is nicely lined and stitched and there feels to be a small memory foam type layer sandwiched on each side.They are not going to offer the same type of protection as a Peli style box but to keep your drive dust/scratch free whilst throwing in a bag etc, they do the job just fine.
