Very good drive - have this model in almost all devices. It has no as good statistics as Crucial or Samsung, but its much cheaper and still its good enough to massively speed up any PC or Laptop.Using these disks for over a year and had no problems, so they are pretty durable too.120GB is enough for operating system, even so big like Windows 10. Its enough space even for most of software or data. If you are not gamer or animator etc. - you may not need bigger or additional drive. If you are gamer - you may always use SSD for OS, and additional HDD for all "bigger" data. If you are animator, you probably should look for bigger and faster SSD.Value for money is confusing.

Whilst I have other portable devices, my venerable Lenovo Yoga 300 remains my favourite when out and about. My HP Pavilion laptop is bulky and a Huawei tablet just doesn't hack it other than for simple browsing.Alas, the Yoga was beginning to show its age becoming slow to boot and load apps.This PNY SSD is not the fastest device of its type and the plastic casing is a tad cheap and cheerful. That said, it's a 240gb SSD at £28 including same day delivery! That is remarkable value and performance is more than adequate for my Yoga. Boot times are now just a few seconds and the laptop is so much more responsive. The available 240gb is more than adequate for my 'mobile' needs.

I've bought a bunch of these lately for computer builds that I have been doing. I tend to go for these as they're branded and usually around the £14-16 mark for 120GB. They consistently perform quite well, above 500MB/s for both read and (I think) write.They arrived quickly, were well packaged and they always mount well; might seem silly, but some SSDs have holes that are a little bit tight for standard drive-mounting screws, and can be a pain to mount without snarling the screw-hole. These were totally fine.There's not much else to say, except that given the choice between some of the cheaper brands and PNY,

The drive looks good and is very good value for money. Reading performs as expected but copying a folder of several gigabytes from a hard drive the speed dropped down half way to a slow speed. Perhaps it was just chugging through some small files but it appeared to have filled up some kind of buffer.It did the job and is not a problem for me but I think I may have discovered the difference between the expensive SSDs and the cheap ones.If you are going to move large files like hard drive images or raw video files then spend a bit more money on a better SSD. If you just want to boot Windows faster and load games quicker then this will do you fine.It actually worth 5 stars because of the value

overwall im very happy with this ssd. 900gb for £70 is well worth it in my opinion i know with storage you never get whats advertised but i was expecting 940-950gb nice and easy to install, it does not come with any cables so youll need your own sata and power cable (though ull probably have hundreds of them laying around) its not quite plug and play but its close enough, you just need to open a partition manager (type partition into the windows 10 search bar and partition the drive then it all works great with no messing around) overall its great value for money, ive only just installed it so cant rate its longevity but ease of use and price its a great buy

This item is good value for money and easy to install. BUT it could have been better had some instructions on how to partition and/ or how to clone your existing drive, also would have been great value if it came with a sata 3 to usb cable. I would have paid more money if it had these accessories.

Replaced a smaller SSD in laptop. Straight image copy with no problems. Definitely improved speed. Appears to run cooler than the older smaller SSD.No problems yet but early days. Time will tell for reliability but what can really go wrong with SSD and no moving parts.

A good black Friday deal. It was easy to install, especially as I'd never done it before. Recognised by BIOS immediately. On Linuxmint I now have a 20 second start up! Can't speak for longevity, only had it couple months, but working fine.

PNY CS900 120 GB SATA III 2.5-Inch Solid State Drivegood value 120gb drive for less than £18...Ok so its slower (see test pic) than most other 120gb SSD's ...but its so cheap how can you go wrong.

Great bit of kit for the money loads quickly battery life good and light to carry, only down side is if you keep one finger on the mouse button and move another on the pad it resizes the screen

Great upgrade from HDD, my desktop is now way faster. Amazing value for money and even though not the fastest SSD, it does the job just as good as the more expensive ones. Definitely worth it!

I bought this drive to speed up a 10 year old laptop.After installing Windows 10 it was like night and day starting up and in general use, compared to the old disk drive it had.

Fitted this SSD into a tired old laptop and it has transformed the performance. Boots up in under 10 seconds instead of minutes. Super easy to swap out the old hard drive.

Bought two at promotional prices for installation on two separate systems as the main OS drive.Both running without fault and far superior to an old HDD.

well it speeded my pc up no end shame they are so expensive and small capacities if i could get a 750gb under £60 my two laptops would have them in a shot
