I recently wanted to upgrade an older PC that I use for 2D tasks to support 3 monitors. Although the PC's onboard graphics had worked well for 2 monitors, it wasn't possible to run 3 monitors without using a dedicated graphics card.Most of the AMD and NVIDIA 'consumer' offerings only have multiple physical display connectors on the mid to high end models, which are totally unnecessary for 2D tasks. Their low-end consumer offerings tend to only offer two ports - usually VGA+DVI or HDMI+DVI. So in addition to still not having enough ports, the connector types aren't always appropriate.PNY's version of the Quadro P400 was therefore ideal for what I wanted - it had 3 Mini DisplayPorts,easily converted to native VGA, HDMI or DVI with the use of cheap adapters, and indeed 3x DVI adapters were included. The card itself comes fitted with a half-height bracket by default, but also includes a full height bracket that can easily be switched to. No external power is required for the card.Price-wise, it's a little bit more expensive than the low-end consumer cards, but is ultimately entirely appropriate for what I needed it for - no other cards met my requirements and came in cheaper!I had a small issue whilst first installing it as the PC wouldn't POST - it would just beep once and not output anything on any of the graphics outputs. I eventually resolved this by performing a BIOS reset - presumably there was a setting that prevented the card from working properly. It's also worth nothing that my existing PC only had PCI Express 2.0 slots - and although backwards compatibility tends to apply it doesn't always. I suspect this might have been why I needed to perform a BIOS reset - a previous BIOS update had improved 'PCI Express compatibility' however I had not reset the settings after that. But certainly, after resetting the PC's BIOS using the motherboard jumper all worked fantastically.

Works a treat - Fantastic product. All myThe only issue was that it came with the mini display to DVI converters and I thought it would be mini display to hdmi. hence why I am giving it 1 star less as I had to order the mini display to hdmi leads separately.

Replaced a much larger and more expensive older card. Drivers easy to install and it's great to be able to run 3 high definition monitors as one desktop. Very good value for money.

I'm not a gamer but a Bitcoin miner. Have twenty nine of these running 24/7 and I'm delighted so far, huge power for my number crunching .... I've made over £2.67 so far this year!

I was concerned at the beginning because it was refurbished but i am running my pc for 7 months and never and is perfect engineering software

This was an upgrade to the card supplied with the PC. This works with DisplayPort and my NEC monitor on Windows 10 to run Photoshop.

I'm not a gamer I better say, bought this for photo editing and occasionally CAD. It has exceeded my expectations so far. Loving it
