I bought this for my son for the summer. I am quite pleased with the sandpit overall and my son loves it.I was worried when first buying a sandpit, incase the wood had the potential to leave splinters in my child, this sand pit is smooth enough that there are no splinters.My only issue is it's not as deep as I'd have expected and putting it together was a little tough on my own as you have to use force to position the wood correctly before screwing it in.

Great! Now it is easy to assemble as long as you have a tape measure to identify what planks go where. Other than that it’s fine. Now guys chill with the power tools here! If you are splitting the wood = too much torque! We are not building a frame for a house, just a little sand pit! There are 56 screws to screw in. I did do by hand. Good quality, perfect size. You may want to upgrade the cover or at least use a brick to hold it down in strong winds!

this is GREAT!! easy to assemble, some of the guide holes are slightly off, but the wood is soft enough to just make the correct one yourself. I bought 60kg of sand from Argos for a total of £12 and this was more than enough (just heavy). My boy only got 20 mins in it with the bad weather over the weekend, but I can see he is going to love it, perfect size for 2 bigger children, probably get 3 younger in there otherwise.

Nice sandpit, easily assembled, looks great on the patio and the kids love itWould have given it 5 stars, but there's a couple of minor negatives:Coloured paint is easily scratched / damaged - could do with a lacquer to coat or something.The cover is far too big for the sandpit - I have a brick on each corner to keep it in place. Seems like it was made for a larger sandpit as it has stitched corners.

I do like this product but was surprised, considering the money that I paid, there was no bottom on it.This means that when the box moves the sand just escapes, everywhere.Also would have thought that the cover that comes with it would fit a little better. You need to use something to keep the cover on each corner so it stays put.

I am very pleased with the final product, it is perfect for my 20 month-old grand-daughter, and the seats are useful. It took longer than half an hour to put together as there were about 50 screws to fit, and the plastic cover doesn't stay on by itself, but it can be weighed down with planks of wood or something similar.

Can't recommend this highly enough if you are looking for a sturdy and attractive sandpit. The seats and storage area are great favourites and are all part of the imaginative play that goes on. My only concern is that there is no means of securing the cover on it so I have had to improvise.

Assembly is straight forward but as other have mentioned the base does not attach to the frame so we will be nailing it together to keep it in place however saying that the little storage section is great! And the kid however is flimsy all in all great fun for the summer for kids

This is a nice sandpit, the storage box is handy and assembly instructions are clear. Only disappointment is the cover: this does not have elasticated corners so I have to secure it to the sandpit with some extra straps to prevent the wind from blowing it away.

My 2year old daughter loves her new sandpit. Downside, no base, just a waterproof sheet so sand slightly leakin out. The waterproof cover is useful but wind blows off so having to use bricks to keep it on and sand protected

Very Happy with this sandpit except the cover sheet that was to be included never came in the box. Didn't have time to send it back so will need to try purchase or fabricate a cover ourselves.

Easy to assemble but the cover is too big,therefore I have to weight it down to stop it blowing away.Otherwise the sandpit is a good size and the toy store is a good idea.
