I was sick of pumping up a paddling pool and it taking an eternity to fill, then it sits miserably in the garage taking up valuable space (because you can never get them back in the box!).... I saw this, and I bought 2, one for a paddling pool and one for a sand pit. I worried it was small for my children but I needn’t have worried, they absolutely adore them and play independently with plenty of room! It’s a sturdy product with plenty of potential. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Bought two of these, one to hold sand and the other as a cover and they seem to work. We've had some questionable weather lately and the top shell hasn't blown away. My only reason for giving 4 stars is that the plastic is very thin and when my 14 month old leans on the top cover it bends in. Otherwise it does what we wnat it to do. We've also used the top as a pool and it's great! Ordered for collection same day. Easy to purchase online. Light to carry home. Thumbs up and would recommend.

I bought 2 of these so one could be used as a sandpit and the other as a paddling pool for my toddler. I liked that one can be used as a lid for the other so that I don't have to empty out the sand or rick cats using it as a litter tray. They do have little notches in the side so that they can connect together, but not very effectively so may need to put something on top to weigh it down. Overall I'm pleased with the product as it's excellent value for money when you can get two on offer.

I was looking for a paddling pool to fit on my small balcony and this has the perfect size. Good to play with toys. Because its low height, easy for a toddler to get in and out without problem. Since it is made of hard plastic it would stay very firm once filled with water. The blue colour gives it a realistic pool look. It is very light in weight, so easy to move around. The only disadvantage is that would not fold for storage, but it takes less space if storaged upright instead of flat.

Fabulous product, 2 shell shapes, one for water the other is a sandpit. I had similar 20 years ago for my boys but this one is for my grand-daughter. The 2 halves have knobbly bits so they line up and the "water" side acts as a lid to keep the sandpit clean when not in use - a great improvement and the plastic seems reasonably sturdy. I had to wait for it to come back into stock and I'm very pleased with the product,its brilliant - would recommend it to anyone with nursery age children.

This product is fine for the price. I bought 2 for £15. Admittedly they were for my puppy though, not a child. The weather was too hot for him so I bought one for him to wallow in, and the other as a sand pit for him to dig in. It's supposed to stop puppies digging up your garden. Not much evidence of that yet though.Not particularly sturdy, but will probably last a few summers at least. I stack the water one on top of the sand one to stop other creatures using it as a toilet. Ideal!

these are so much better than little blow up pools, so much easier to empty and to clean, meaning can get it in and out for good/bad weather days really easily. weve used it for sand aswell and works well, 2 bags of sand fills it pretty well. my daughter is 8 and it still is perfect even for this age group for a bit of water play when you maybe dont want to get a big pool out. she can still sit in it, but provides plenty of water for different activites and just for cooling down a bit

I have a big family pool and have two young kids who always want water play when temperatures are high outdoors - however the job off setting up a big family pool and draining water out everyday was tiring! Whereas this mini shell pool is perfect for kids to cool off/ make little splash and my kids even use it as pedicure fun to soak/paddle their feet's during hot weather in garden. Plus it's so much easier to fill and drain the water out! Must have for children who love water fun!

This is a great alternative to an inflatable paddling pool. Can be used as sand pit or paddling pool. Can be put into use immediately without need to inflate and no concerns about deflation/having to re-inflate regularly. This is sturdy yet small enough to fit well in our bijou front yard. Perfect size for our petite 2 year old. Did not want to invest 10 times the price to buy a wooden sand pit in case she didn't take to it. This was the perfect solution. Love Chad Valley items ❤

Bought this, and to be honest was expecting it to be in a box, so surprised when I picked them up, I ordered 2 as it was a great offer, and I then had a spare, I bought these several years ago to use as a sand pit/paddling pool, but I bought this for my dog, in the hot weather he can drink from it, lie in it to cool him down, the shell is strong enough to hold a dog rolling around in it and can withstand the paws and does not crack, 2nd one acts as lid which covers at night.

Bought two of these paddling pools which fit together so you can use one as a cover. I bought them for my two dogs to use in the hot weather. They are sturdy and very good value for money. I have a Labrador and small pointer. They love them. Unfortunately hadn’t been used much due to the weather. They are strong and withstand dogs jumping in and out and scratching the bottom. Have already recommended to friends who have dogs. Would highly recommend as a dog paddling pool.

Tremendous variable water height feature depending on how much water you add.It has a superb depth control feature preventing you filling it beyond its capacity where it simply sheds excess water.Can also be used as a large jelly mold for childrens parties and a massive fruit punch holder, great as a large outddor fruitbowl, splendid hat for ascot races and a great sledge when its too cold to paddle.Simply life changing product that I can not recommend enough

So glad I read the reviews online & found this before buying a traditional blow-up paddling pool. This is ideal as you can quickly grab it & fill it up, no messing about. Toddlers are not known for their patience so the quicker they can get in and splash about the better! Also not too large to store & its size helps with the filling up quickly. The plastic could be a bit stronger which is why I gave 4 stars, but for the price the quality is probably reasonable.

I bought 2 for our 4 month old granddaughter. The idea is to use it as a paddling pool, sand pit and possibly a ball pool and the 2nd one as a lid. However, she's not had chance to use it yet. They fit nicely into one another when not in use and for the price, I feel they are good value. I had not used Argos 'Click and Collect' before but I found this to be very efficient, with special distancing measures during this dreaded Coronavirus. Thank you.

Bought this for my dog ( Jack Russell ) to paddle in on the hot summer days tried it out in the mini heatwave we had and he loves splashing around in it with his toys. Surprised how sturdy it was even when he tried to bite it as he has done and destroyed many inflatable pools before and not a mark on it. Light to carry and easy to clean. Has a raised pattern on the inside so it's not slippy. Great price and can imagine great for kids too lol
