Gave this to my son last christmas - he loves it.As you'll see from the pictures/text, the crane arm can move horizontally and up/down to raise/lower the containers. The controls are at the top and, as usual with the playmobil stuff, it can take a battering. My boy has already (accidentally) kicked and tripped over it. For the more brutal attacks it simply pops some seams and comes apart - just needing a quick re-assemble to resume playtime.It's been 6 months of fairly heavy play now and the motorised components are still working - it all still looks nice too.Recommended.

Great product but annoyed it came in a box with playmobil written all over it and a picture of the contents. Took some distraction to ensure the kids didn't see this when it was left on the door step during the morning school run! Not good at Christmas time when clearly a present for a child!!

I bought this for my 4 year old at Christmas, I bought him the trainset as well, got a bit carried away really, but so worth it. We... I mean he plays with them for hours on end. Playmobil is the best really, superb quality. Not cheap, but very much worth it.

this is excellent, fully recommended, this is lots of fun for any child to use, my husband is also enjoying it and really completes our construction site, fully motorised and just works so well! I think it took "granddad sometime to put it together however!"

Excellent. My grandson loves cranes... and has them in all shapes and sizes. Whilst not being cheap, this is playmobil and well made.

surprise gift from my wife for my garden railway will give myself and the grandchildren lots of fun working it in the goods yard
