My 3 1/2 year old had this for Christmas. He loves playing with it in the bath but I have had to take ALL of the small parts away for now as he would just lose them and I would spend ages looking for them! He seems quite happy playing with just the boat, fisherman and life ring for now - especially in the bath. The fishing rod is too fiddly for him at the moment so I've put it away until he's a bit older (the fish have a tiny hole in their mouths which you have to push onto the bit at the end of the rod - personally I think it would have been better if they were magnetic). I bought this when it was on special offer and although I think it's a good toy, I would not have paid the full RRP for it.

What a wonderful boat from this excellent brand.Playmobil think of everything and this toy absorbs small people for many hours. My children have learnt to really prize all the tiny bits and store them with great care. Playmobil toys really teach kids to look after their toys and therefore playmobil lasts for years and years. this boat has fisherman that can hold the rod and catch the fish, figures to sit and pilot the boat etc. I bought this for a 4 yr old girl who loves this in the bath. Kids adore assembling it, all part of the toy ! it is beautifully designed and a quality product and does what kids want it to do , ie fishermans hands to hold the steering wheel/ bucket handle.

This is my third and biggest Playmobil toy purchase.Its good quality like all of the others. There's nothing worse than buying a toy expecting it to live up to the expectations shown on the box and then be dissapointed. This has never happened with Playmobil.The pieces are detailed and well made. Some parts of this set are tiny (like the two little knives) but we've been trying to keep all of the parts together after we're finished playing with them and away from other toys. Its a useful technique in teaching my nearly 3 year old how to look after the things he values.He loves this set and returns to it often.

What can I say? It's Playmobil. And a fishing boat. It comes with a fisherman, three trouts (yes, *three* trouts), a seagull (which is just great), a crab (awesome), a lobster (love it!), a fishing cutter (why not?) a fishing rod *with* (get this) a float, a ripper hook (wild!), two knives (fair enough), a bucket (oh yes), two vegetable crates (I know right), one storage tray (would you believe it?) and four fenders (far out!) My son - who's into boats - enjoys playing with it almost as much as me.

bought this for my grandson's 5th birthday (along with the motor) as he loves boats and it did not disapoint. His Mum says its his favourite toy and he plays with it in the bath every night. Usual playmobil standard well made and durable does have little bits but that adds to interest, eventually I suppose these smaller bits will end up being mixed with other toys.It was on offer so good value and excellent service from Amazon.Happy Gran Happy Grandson

My children are more lego fans but I have recently purchased a few Playmobil items for my younger son who struggles a bit assembling lego and he loved this. He was able to assemble it himself and enjoyed putting the stickers on. It's a great size, with good attention to detail and he loves it because he can take it in the bath!I will be buying more Playmobil items. They are good value for money.

I'm a big fan of Playmobil and this is one of their best. The fishing boat design is particularly charming with has all the great details you'd expect... fishing rods that catch the fish, tiny crates and jolly fisherman with stubble. An excellent addition to our Playmobil collection. Well thought out - fish attach to fishing rod, also includes crab, lobster and a very realistic seagull! As well as encouraging imaginative play, Playmobil helps children learn to take care of their possessions, as it's not much fun if they lose all the bits!

Bought for a little lad, he was absolutely delighted with it. If I have a criticism it was that the piecesin it were rather small, i.e. the fish. Not for him, as he was 4, the recommended age, but his little sister was keen to get the bits and put them in her mouth. But other than that, was delighted.

So I had been looking around on sites and on here for playmobil trying to get a good deal as playmobil is expensive so always look around first, I brought this on Amazon as it was cheaper on here then the other sites even the actual playmobil website. Arrived nicely packaged and was easy to assemble

I was looking for something to keep my 3 year old son amused at bath time , and this has been perfect and he enjoys playing with it both in and out of the bath. Just have to remember to get fish out before letting the plug out in case they go down the plug hole.

No sharp corners and solidly made, our 3 year old grandchild loves it. We bought the pirate ship and this one together, his little mind is fully occupied while the cannon balls let fly at the fisherman. A happy little boy enjoys bath time now.

You have to hand it to Playmobil they make some really cracking toys and this fishing boat must rate high among the very best. The amount of detail is excellent, a child’s imagination can just romp away - not to mention her Grandad’s!

Just love playmobil and I bought it for a friend of my daughters who likes to play with playmobil. They have a great time playing with the boat and all the rest of their playmobil toys. Very good quality toys.

Bought this for my Godson's 4th birthday - he has played with it continuously - other than when his older siblings have taken it to play with themselves! Great success. Playmobil always is in my experience.
