I like playmais as an activity but 'learning forms/shapes' didn't work- it fails to mention you have to cut all the little pieces into the said shapes! Even if you did wish to spend hours doing this before letting your toddler loose on it, once you've cut them, they hardly resemble perfect triangles, rectangles etc. Not useful for teaching them shapes! The colour element worked and he liked playing with them but if you're buying this set to help with colours and shapes I'd think again (on the sheaves bit anyway!)
