Not long ago, reviewing a beaker for toddlers with the 360 degree spill-proof drinking feature that we see in the ‘Magic Cup’ here, I remarked, ‘civilization is still advancing’.Clearly I was right, for now we have this three-in-one baby-to-big-toddler set that not only has a lid like that, but has two alternative lids; one for the next stage beyond a teat (the Trainer/Learner Cup) and one with a straw that retracts on a twist of the cap (the Action Cup), making the bottle leak-proof whilst also keeping the top of the straw clean and safe. All this is made possible by silicone, a soft plastic that is flexible and pliable like rubber, but doesn’t smell, go hard, perish, etc. as rubber does. The coming of silicone has been a very quiet revolution, but a revolution nevertheless.I can’t fault anything about this set. It seems everything has been thought of – like stoppers for the valves on the Trainer/Learner Cup and a lid for the Magic Cup, and all apparently as carefully made as it has been thought out.But for the teddy bear face on the basic cup (onto which all three lids fit), the instant straw cup (Action Cup) would appeal strongly to much older children. Perhaps we will soon see something like it mounted on a bigger cup intended for those older children – especially as single-use plastic straws go out of use.

The fact that the this drinking glass comes with 3 different types of lid is great for supporting baby’s development. A sippy cup lid is included; but as current research shows that sippy spouts can encourage the development of speech impediments and crooked teeth, this hasn’t been used. The product tester is actually 8 months old now so the stage 2 lid is in use. The design is great as it enables baby to access the water when the cup is tilted. It does however limit the amount that flows through so he doesn’t spill water over himself. Unfortunately the stage 2 lid doesn’t have the grasping handles that the stage 1 lid has, so the little one isn’t able to hold the cup on his own yet.In addition a sealant lid is included, making this a great travel cup. The animal motif on the cup is sweet but I would have preferred more vibrant colours for a little one. That said, it hasn’t faded (yet) when cleaned – yippee it is dishwasher safe. Overall this is a good adaptable drinking cup that can be used for years; I just wish there were handles on the stage 2 lid. The stage 3 lid which includes a straw is a little outside his ability at the moment, but I do like the fact that the straw is retractable.

When you have children you may find yourselves with cupboards full of various cups designed from ages 0 to 100. Nuk themselves do a series of different cups that cater for an advancing baby. They are all different to hold, but looking at the actual cup element they are actually the same. If you are organised enough you could do a lot worse than getting the 'Nuk Learn to Drink Set' as it covers from ages 6+ to a toddler and will save space. It is a simple enough idea, you just change the lid section so that it is best suited to your child's development. Start with a sippy cup like lid with handles, then the lid that requires them to press down with their lips, finally a straw element. You have seen all these type of cups before, it is just that these are all on the same original cup element. You simply screw the latest adaptor on when your child is ready. The seals are all tight so none of the cups leak. Just having all the elements that work with one cup for up to two years is enough to make this worthwhile. Having 1 cup instead of 3 cluttering up space is a family’s dream.

This set is lovely and goes well with the rest of the range with the same design and logos. It makes an ideal gift for someone who has had a baby recently as this is something to grow into on three levels so not something they outgrow in the first few weeks or months. It has three different tops, one with straw, one sippy classic style and one cup with a lid that allows more free drinking but limited amounts to reduce spilling. this may cause some children frustration with the smaller amount released but it does help them control flow. Th sippy cup has the normal handles which work well and are a good grip but in some ways its a shame all three versions dont have handles as not all children findgripping a cup easy early on.All items easy to take apart and clean/sterilise etc so i really feel any parent would either be thankful; they bought this or love it as a gift. it is certainly being enjoyed well here and no wet floors so happy parents.

This training set consists of three lids and one cup body - this is a nice idea that saves a bit of money, because normally you have to buy the three stages separately, with cup.You get:1 training cup lid (6 months+)1 360° sippy cup lid (8 months+)1 action cup lid (12 months+)1 cup bodyIt's made by a brand with a great reputation, which increases my confidence. The training cup has nice rubberised handles which are easy to grip. The sippy cup has a clever design that makes the spout fully rotate on the lid.The only reservations I have are that the action lid has a straw that looks like it will be difficult to clean properly, and I hope that a replacement cup body is available,a they do tend to get broken - I'm not certain that it will last long enough to be used in conjunction with all three lids!

The Wild & Free learn to drink set from Nuk is adorable. We’ve been lucky in that he has taken to using a variety of cup tops from 6+ months so will interchange between all of these tops now he’s 20 months. Of course the downside is only having the one cup and I’ve tried this on one of our other Nuk cups but it leaks so unfortunately the tops are not compatible with others from the range. I love that the 360 comes with a lid for travel and the twist top on the straw cup hides it with ease – the straw will hold a bit of water but will slowly work its way back down the straw. My little one loves to chew though and I don’t think the straw is going to last long at all so may not be ideal if they are teething.Overall though, it’s a good quality set that is easy to use.

At first I thought the price tag of around £17 was a little high , however you must remember that you are basically getting 3 cups in 1. So not only are you saving time of having to go out and buy 3 products, saving from waste as you dont need to get rid of 1 cup when your child have advanced on- you just change the lid and you save space in your cupboard as you have 1 cup with 3 different lids instead of 3 cups. This NUK cup looks cute and is designed well. This item is packaged and presented well, so would make a nice gift.It works excellently, I've tested all 3 and they all work well. No leaks , no spills, no issues in any way.A nice item that I would happily recommend, 5 stars!

NUK 10255398 Learn to Drink Set with Trainer Cup Learner Cup (6M+), Magic Cup 360 Degree Sippy Cup (8M+) and Action Cup Toddler Cup (12M+), BPA-Free, Bear, Transparent, 230 ml is a great cup to have for small babies as they progress from an early age, as it allows the cup to grow with the needs of a child as it goes from a sippy cup which I am pleased to say has handles attached to the lid to a tumbler shaped cup which has a straw.Everything in this set is easily washed and sterilised.A great action toddler cup which changes with the needs of a small child, so much better than buying a new cup for each stage a young baby/toddler goes through.Happy to recommend.

I can't fault this cup. My daughter is 1 year and a few months and comfortable with all the lids. It is as if there are 3 bottles, great innovation. We have a similar bottle which came with only one lid, the 6M+ (learner cup) so we are now using the 2 bottles with these lids interchangeably. The ultimate training, in my opinion, is the Magic cup. It is the closest to drinking from a normal cup. It is magic because the liquid does not spill. The baby just sips the liquid from any part of the rim. I had to read instructions as I could not see how it works. This certainly helps with training a child to make the transition to normal cups less painful.

his cup is called a magic cup and I could alost believe it.The bottle is clear plastic with a measure on one side and the happy teddy motif on the other. Different lids are for different ages/abilities. For babies 6 months + there is a lid with 2 handles and a soft spout with valve in spout which is perforated. The babies at 8 month can progress to a lid with with rim and baby can drink from any where on rim and spills are prevented. After 12 monrths has a twist and close lid with straw. Unfortunately our little one is just coming up to 6 months so can't try the older age groups. We have given her the empty cupwhicz she is handling well

This is a lovely set of a cup base with three different lids for different stages of your babies development and increase in their independence when having a sip of water through to their cup of drink. It's a beige design which is pleasant enough. the lids are easy to change and whilst I'd prefer to have a cleaning brush the exact width for the straw, this isn't a major issue at all.The set is priced atm at £19.99 which is only worth it if it does transpire to be the only cup baby needs. I'm hopeful that it doesn't become damaged or break in some way as I can't seem to get the lids to fit any other NUK beaker type cups

A clever idea this from NUK. One cup but three different lids. The idea being that as your little one becomes more and more adept at drinking from the cup you change the lid from teat to straw to lip, accordingly. Then eventually dispense with the lid altogether and..... Wallah! you have a a child that has mastered drinking etiquette without spilling a drop (dream on). Its a nice simple item that any family with a toddler will appreciate. My daughter says she'll hang on to it after her grand daughter has grown out of it, because She can then use it on me in reverse when I become too old to use a cup an saucer myself.

The set consists of 3 different tops which screw onto a cup; the cup is a clear plastic and decorated with a bear motif. All the cups are leak proof and the parts are dishwasher safe and come apart easily for cleaning, a big plus. The training lid is the only one with handles, this doesn’t have a protective cover, the 360 degree magic cup has a clip-on cover and on the drinking-straw version the top rotates to enclose the straw. As grandparents this is a useful set for when grandchildren come to visit, we’ve always got the right cup. It’s very well-made and designed, and easy to take apart to clean. Recommended.

This is an excellent cup set for baby. One cup with measurements up to 230ml. The tops cover all stages from a sippy cup to a “magic” non drip cup to a straw and beaker. The sippy cup has built in ergonomic handles which support baby to learn how to drink independently. The “magic” non drip cup is great for early toddlers as they can drink as you would from a cup but in a measured amount to stop baby getting soaked. The beaker and straw are great for toddlers who can use a straw. The cup has a little teddy and Wild & Free logo on one side. From NUK.Recommended product.

NUK products are brilliant and this is no exception. The innovation is one of the main reasons we love them so much and with this set you get a cup with three different lids each for different stages of the babies development. It’s a 230ml cup that’s easy to hold, especially with the first lid that has these really cool handles that look a bit strange but work really well giving a safe comfortable grip. The design on the side is lovely with the bear characters. Recommended.
