I bought this to replace our Annabel Karmel Nuk one from 5 years previously and this one does exactly the same as that, except it comes with a lid and a spoon which is sooooo handy for leftover food! They're a bit annoying to store in a cupboard because you want to store them together so they need to be the top bowl in a stack, and if they're in a cupboard up high, the masher always falls out on my head as the handle is heavier than the rest of it. If you store the masher inside the bowl, the lid needs to be stored alongside, so that rolls out...maybe I should just store them in a big box somewhere instead...but I don't have space in my tiny kitchen for things like that. It's cool though, mashes food into baby food very nicely so the baby can eat what we do. Saves time and money.

Great little tub for mashing and serving baby food. The ridges inside the pot really help grip the food, e.g. banana, pear, cooked carrots, etc. And the masher is very good at its job.Material is good quality and thick, so no danger of it breaking when it gets thrown on the floor by baby.Only thing I would say is to put the utensils straight into soak/wash after use, as bits of food can get stuck between the cracks. And don't mash your baby rice with the masher... mash the fruit/veg first and then mix in the baby rice with a spoon. Otherwise you get into all kinds of stickiness-problems.All in all, a great product

Nice item, great idea and overall the quality is good, the lid fits well, it feels solid and spoon is sturdy too, however, because the bowl is ridged on the inside (for ease of mashing), it is hard to get clean which is obviously not ideal when it's for baby food, likewise the masher itself works well but because of the way it is moulded the food sticks in the holes and I have to scrape it off with the end of a cocktail stick to get it 100% clean. Perhaps I'm just fussy, but when it comes to baby stuff I feel it should be as clean as possible as he gets older I guess it won't be such an issue.

The Nûby Garden Fresh Mash-N-Feed is Brilliant for mashing up avocados, bananas and soft fruits. Not ideal if you're looking to puree root veg as the consistency will be grainy.I love this product!I also bought the Vital Baby 8 piece Start Weaning Kit - BLUE (for some reason i can not write a separate review!! )The set is ideal when starting to wean, however, the sippy cup leaks a lot, despite ensuring the lid is screwed on tightly. Also, my baby can not hold it as it quite slippery and has no handles. I've had to buy a separate sippy cup.

Really good product, nice and sturdy so you feel comfortable mashing food in it. The masher works surprisingly well. The lid makes it really easy to prepare and store food.Small criticisms:- The spoon that comes with it is pretty large and completely solid, would be good to have a small one with a rubber tip that would make it easier on baby and easier to transport.- The bowl has grooves in it - which are obviously there to help mash food - however food gets stuck in it, which means food gets wasted and its a bit harder to clean.

A super little masher. Just right for baby portions.I use it at least once a day and often twice for main meal and pudding. Mashes banana, avocado, plums, broccoli, and anything else you fancy mashing. You can get soft things like banana very smooth which is good for first foods of weaning and later you can leave in a few little lumps when you want baby to try some texture.Carrots or harder foods don't mash very well so you won't be able to get them smooth like a purée with this.Recommended as an essential little item.

I have read alot of reviews on these types of bowls, basically the softer the item is the easier is is to mash! I wouldn't put in a raw apple and expect it to come out like a baby food pouch! We have used it for mashing up soft fruits and so far so good. We have a family holiday planned and so not able to take my electric blender so this is perfect!Cleaning wise, anybody who moans about this clearly doesn't have a washing up brush!

I wasn't sure whether I would get much use out of this and questioned whether it was just another baby must have gimmick. But it's great. Particularly because it comes with a lid, which others don't. Without the lid, I would still use it but being able to quickly mash cooked pear, apple, banana etc and then leave it in the bowl to take out with you is loads more convenient. I have already recommended this to friends with babies

Love this item! Perfect size to help prepare meals for my little girl. Easy to use and the masher is very sturdy, making it so easy to break down the veg. Having the lid is also an added bonus as any leftovers can be stored in the fridge without transferring to another bowl or container. Handy for taking out with us too due to the shape and size of it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone weaning their little one!

This is a great little product for mashing softer foods, like bananas, cooked fruit and veg, good grip base to keep it sturdy. The ridges inside the bowl are good to assist with the mashing and is very easy to clean. Good to feed directly from with little handle and great that can also store food inside with the lid. It will take a bit of work to mash firmer foods, as I expected.

Love this masher. I use this to squish up veggies and pulses for my 6month old baby as we moved on from purées fairly quickly. It’s been in use daily, it’s very quick to use. With little effort, easy to clean. I love the curled up spoon for feeding too as it’s easier to scrape the food off her upper lip as I pull the spoon out. It’s much better than the flat spoons I’ve got.

If you are in a dilemma between to get a blender/food processor or this manual masher,Get this Mash-N-Feed as a start, it saves me a lot of time, because baby is growing fast they can start chunkier food in the future. This mash food really well, strong grip. In the future I can use the bowl to store food (+lid), and the masher to smash potatoes or any kind of food.

So simple, this has become my only essential piece of baby weaning kit. We mostly do baby led weaning but meals like spag bol are quickly mashed and then devoured by my youngest! He won't touch anything too smooth (apart from yoghurt!) so puree stuff is a waste of time, this works really well and can be taken out and about too.

Wish that bowl was a bit bigger as when I mash food, it keeps falling out... As well it would've been good if masher was fitting in the bowl, so when out after use you could klip the lid on and keep dirty things sealed... It is useful when out and about, just wish this little detail was different

I wouldn't normally buy something like this, my first daughter I had a hand held blender and anything I could find in the kitchen. About to start weening my second but also going on holiday, no cooking facilities but I think this will be ideal to mash up cooked veggies and fruit from the buffet!
