Having weighed up buying these tubes or LED tubes I decided to go for the cheaper option £5.50 against £20 or more for plug and play LEDs. My fixtures are old and when they expire I expect LED fixtures will be more reasonably priced, I was initially disappointed when I turned on the two lights in my workshop as only the ends of the tubes were fully lit, the middle barely glowed, I left them on and when I returned they were both fully lit and giving off bright white light, perfect for my workshop now I can see everything so clearly, I couldn't be more pleased. This is a cheap alternative to LEDs.

I searcged hundreds of these tubes & could not believe how damned expensive they are, I settled for these, as to be honest they seemed cheap, Philips has always been good quality products & I got fed up of looking, that being said, they're as discribed & do the job I need them to do, you could do a lot worse. I'd presumed, wrongly, that they'd be rubbish as they're near half the price of some others listed.This time it's a win, for me & could be for you too, next day delivery also can't be faulted.Mark & Kaz

One of the cheapest tube lights i found online but actually quite surprised that it is quite good quality, i dare to say that the others that are more expensive are probably just as good quality. My only downside is that it is a little bright for my kitchen so i recommend this brightness for a garage or large shed. Ive come to npt notice it so much now but my kichen doesnt have the ambience at night it once had before this bulb. Other than that what can i say, a bulb is a bulb and this is a good one!

I got a 4ft batten light unit plus tube for my garage and was amazed how much more light the daylight tube supplied gave me.Having 2 other 5ft fluorescent light fitting's with very old tubes in the garage I just had to get these 2 daylight tubes to match.The light output is amazing and I can now see better in my garage than I have in over 20 years.Pro's: everything.Con's: none that I have found.Truly great product from a well respected manufacturer.

Day light bulbs have been around for many years in the U.S. it is about time they became readily available here in the U.K. Every one keeps saying how we are living longer these days, well it comes at a price, the older you get the more light you need to do seemingly simple tasks.Here is a firm who can supply a better life style at a very reasonable price.

Was a bit hesitant about ordering something as fragile / oddly shaped (for transit) as these fluorescent tubes.....BUT......they were superbly packed and extremely well protected!I would certainly buy from these guys (with a great deal of confidence) again!Many Thanks!

Really happy with this. Came quickly and is really bright. Took a while to get used to it as I chose the daylight colour and it really is like being outside! Very strange at first! 100% would buy again but these two should last me years!

I was looking for a replacement 58w5ft fluorescent tube. Saw this and was really surprised by the price. I was impressed by the light output, It was pure ice white 6500k, alot brighter and easy to install. worth every penny!

These tubes are amazing, i replaced my old strip lights tubes for these daylight ones in my business premises and the difference in light is incredible.Also delivered faster than the stated delivery time.Highly recommend

I'm really impressed how quickly this came. Not only do you get x2 the price is really amazing for what u get. The light it gives off makes my kitchen look amazing.i would defo recommend.thankyou

Little to sayIt looks like any other 5 ft tube.Can't measure light output but looks like any other tubeHave not had it long so cannot say how long it lasts

Excellent bulbs, I was looking to add a spotlight above my work bench but the bright white bulbs have lit up my shed brilliantly excellent product good service

Excellent - like bright daylight. Easy to fit, although it took 2 of us simply because of the length. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Great buy great value I needed my new tubes and these came very quick packed very well I recommended I will use again for all my lighting needs

The 6000Kelvin tube gives a very clear light. Using a light meter they are not actually any brigher than lower temperature ones but seem to be.
