It arrived, I fitted it, turned it on, and - nothing happened. Turned out the choke had failed.Replaced the choke and the tube works. It's a decent light for a my elderly mum's small kitchen, plenty bright enough but not glaring, and a pleasant warm tone.Top marks to the seller for the packaging. These things are notoriously fragile but it was very well packed.

Came very well packaged with plenty of bubble wrap and a strong outer tube, so no problems there. For a 'daylight' bulb though the light is very bright and stark, not very comfortable to be in for long, which as it is a kitchen/diner light for me makes it a bit too much (have used regular daylight bulbs in other rooms in the past without this issue).

You can't say too much about a fluorescent tube. It either works or it doesn't. However may main concern was the risk of transit damage. I should not have worried. Absolutely first-class packaging ensured the product was unlikely to sustain damage while in transit and it works a treat.

Used in a fish tank, add definition to the slate I have in there and catches the colours on the fish well. You could buy pretty much the same product for twice the price if it has aquarium written on the packaging so I'd always use these at £8

This product is very bright and illuminates my kitchen well which is why I purchased this Tube.As I have previously bought this product the decision to buy again was based on quality and longevityof the item.

I am well impressed with these tubes. I had been unable to buy them locally at any price and to get these at this quality and price has been a real result. They are very bright and the packaging kept them safe

It's like having summer daylight in the kitchen. I didn't realize you could get different types of lighting in the old style tubes. Amazing we have a new lease of light in the room.

I was glad to get this tube in good time, although it came in an unnecessarily large cardboard box that I had to take in my car to the council tip. The tube fitted and works well.

I love this bulb it is definitely what it says it is and the kitchen looks so bright and not the yellow ting of normal lights I would definitely recommend buying this.

This item came well packaged & on time. The light is bright & even, with no flicker. Although it is more expensive than similar products, this one can be relied upon.

Exactly what it says fits perfectly. Bright, very easy to fit, does not flicker comes on instantly. would recommend to anyone who wants a clear bright lighted area.

It came in a box looking like the world's biggest toblerone. But that meant it was delivered intact, on time and unharmed. Excellent! And at a good price too!
