A good quality lamp that is very cool running temperature wise and produces a pleasant, flicker free, diffuse light at the stated 2700K warm white colour, though the claimed 470Lm output seems a tad optimistic.An issue worth bearing in mind is that most of the light is emitted from the top with a distinct cut off of light about two thirds down the lamp globe. If used "base up" in a ceiling pendant this will mean less light across the ceiling than with a comparable incandescent lamp.

Quality LED's - as you'd expect from the Philips brand. At around a fiver per bulb, this represents value for money, bearing in mind current prices for LED's.Hopefully this technology will become more affordable as consumers switch over from the less-capable alternatives.

Perfect replacement for halogen bulbs. Good light given and so far lasting .
