I bought these 4W E14 LED Candle bulbs to replace some 60W Halogen bulbs on my living room chandeliers. Prior to purchase my main concern was that the LED lights would be too yellow and/or not bright enough. However on both accounts they are absolutely fine. The light is only very slightly yellower but perfectly pleasant (in the past I had an issue with buying cheap LEDS that even though they had the same Kelvin score of 2700k that they were much yellower than the halogen bulbs). Also the amount of light is very similar to the halogen bulbs - this I don't understand as these are 470 lumens whereas the halogen ones were something like 700-800.

Having repainted living room it was annoying to find our existing bulbs were giving our walls a green cast. Checked on Philips website which says their bulbs give a natural light so things look the correct colour. Important when you have paid a fortune for a particular paint colour. Philips are true to their word. All paint work looks the colour it should be.Money well spent. Bulbs are nice and bright and as they don’t have the plastic bottom half and are in fittings where bulb can be seen this is also a bonus. Recommended.

They definitely don't last 15000 hours at roughly £3.10 each i suppose it's personal opinion on wether they're good value one of mine has just gone after roughly 14 months, in my bedroom the light is not on constantly only briefly a few times a day, the light is nice though i had all 6 in a light fitting and it wasn't too bright just right for the size of room. Overall I'd say there's cheaper longer lasting available brand names are not always better.

Bought to replace 5 x 40w candle bulbs in a ceiling chandelier fitting. The light is at least as bright (if not brighter) and when on now spends less than a single standard candle 40w bulb. Brilliant, have since purchased more to replace other candle bulbs.Price is good compared to other suppliers, not sure how long it would take me to recover costs based on electricity saved, but hey at least I'm doing my bit to save the planet!

Fab bulbs and when part of a chandelier are really bright. They all arrived packed well and they all worked as I would expect. Love the fact that they function as they should and also are decorative as there is no horrible white plastic visible and are in a clear glass.Philips - you need to pull your finger out and get some 14w versions in a standard bulb shape for outdoor lights....

I use this in the end of a vintage paraffin lamp which I converted into a table lamp. My lamp has no shade on it so the twisted feature of his bulb looks flame like. It is also just right in terms of brightness, not too bright and not too dim, for the corner of my living room. It is lasting well.

Very nice light bulbs. They go well in a 3 light ceiling hanging lamp. Just the right level of brightness as far as I'm concerned and according to my smart meter they are energy efficient. After purchasing saw them greatly reduced so bought a 2nd box for spares. Otherwise a little pricey.

Had purchased the cheaper alternatives by LAKES but one of the bulbs blew within the first 10 mins, so i thought why not spend abit more on a quality brand. The light output may be similar buts its quality the paying extra for.Brilliant bulbs

Emits lovely light similar to traditional tungsten filament bulbs. Replaced a CFL bulb with this and liked it so much have replaced almost a dozen. This wattage is perfect for bed side tables where you don't want them too bright.

As other reviewers have said, the light is slightly yellowish but that has suited me fine. They are very bright and with just 10% of the energy usage, I am delighted.No idea yet as to how long they last but so far OK.

There is so much choice on the market and most LED bulbs are of very poor quality. These ones are very good. I was also lucky to buy them at a great price while they were on a temporary promotion

Emits a lovely traditional light similar to that of traditional tungsten filament bulbs. Replaced a CFL bulb with this an liked it so much I've install almost a dozen of these around the house.

Bought these Philips led’s for mums lounge, always better to buy a reliable name, my neighbours cheap led started smoking after a few months use, good job he was at home.Live and learn.

Just what I needed after some minor brand let me down with flickering. You pay fractionally more but for a well reputed brand. So far very pleased.

Give a very nice warm yellow suitable for a classic or industrial look depending on your lighting decor. Strongly recommended.
