First I will start from good things: It is easy to instal because it is like normal bulbs, connection to internet by router is easy as well, Seting up do not make any problems, but seting up single bulbs it is not that easy if you have more bulbs in one room ( on the beginning in app they has the same name so first you need to check up wich one is where ). Another thing Hue sync is a great app but only works on pc- laptop so if I wanna use it with my tv i need to use my computerbecsuse there is no kind of app for smart tv or I need to buy a new philips ambilight tv. Also my sygestion to sync app if there is chance to add some colours or option to customization sync music will be awesome.

Purchased this product when we realised it can be used to programme lights to turn on and off. This provided security when you not home. The colour lights are clear and great fun for a disco, we also use them when watching tv and films, choosing an aqua scene while watching Blue Planet really bought the sea into you your living room.We have since added hue lights throughout our house, and mixed coloured and white lights together. All are dimable and it’s simple to ask Alexa to set you Light to 40%.I would highly recommend this product, I know it may seem expensive but the benefits far out way the cost.

My partner has been wanting Hue lighting in our house for so long so I caved and bought the starter kit for him. It was very simple to set up and start using and it was fun getting the hang of everything and all of the different features through the app. The app is also very easy to use and the light options and home and away and other routines are fantastic. The dimmer switch is also very handy! We're planning on getting a few more for the different levels of the house, which I would recommend!

After placing Google Home Mini speakers throughout our home, we decided it was time to expand our smart home with a Philips Hue setup which has turned out to be an excellent addition to oour home.For mood lighting, you can change the colours of the bulbs or to choose one of the scenes within the app.Compatibility with the Google Home system is excellent which even goes beyond the speakers and also works with our Nvidia Shield android TV device, our LG smart watches and Huawei phones.

A great addition to rooms where you spend time, the ability to adjust the lights by brightness and colour to your activity is a great novelty; playing games, watching tv or working. The only negatives;1) are the price but the Phillips name guarantees a high quality product. 2) the bulb sizes/ shapes available for colour. We use fan lights which contain there own lense to house the bulb, one of my fan lights I had to remove the outer lense from the Phillips bulb to make it fit.

I've been thinking about buying this for a while and im really happy I finaly did.. They are fantastic and so easy to set up and use very easy to link to my google home speakers. I've also got myself two more dimmer switches for my hallway and bedroom also easy to set up. You also need to download the philips hue app and link, this also very easy. I would highly recommend this item to anyone and already have and some friend have now got themselves this great starter kit.

I was a bit sceptical at first - thought they were very ‘gimmicky’. But I was wrong! Set up was a doddle for both the Google Home and the light bulbs. Straight away I was able to control my lights with a vocal command and via the Philips Hue app on my iPad and smartphone. The choice of lighting states is virtually limitless. I love the fact that you can set them to slowly dim as you are getting ready to go to sleep and turn on gradually to wake you gently in the morning.

I found getting the right level of brightness and colour shade a little difficult and as yet I haven't found out how to delete settings that are not what I want. I am sure if I spent more time working it out it would be fine. I am having the house rewired and using these bulbs is an alternative to using a seperate lighting circuit. I think using these bulbs will give me what I want but I just neeed to spend some time setting it up. Will review further at that stage.

This was an impulse buy as u had been looking at these for weeks and putting it off. I’m so glad I decided to take the plunge and get them as they are amazing and also with the offer from Argos I got two bulbs free!! The possibilities are endless for these lights so I’ll keep growing my collection. They give off plenty of light and are easy to fit. I have the app downloaded on my phone and iPad which comes in very handy

I bought this kit in order to start getting my whole flat fitted with hue bulbs. I have limited mobility and being able to control all my lights via an app is just amazing. I used to be back and forth, carrying things from the kitchen to the living room during meal times. But now everything is automated and it has made a huge change to my life. I can't wait until every room is set up with hue lights, and sensors.

I purchased this starter pack with a Google Home and I'm really glad it did. The amount of light combinations you can have is limitless and it really helps change the atmosphere in a room. One feature I really like is you can set wake up lights so the room gradually gets lighter as you wake up. As I need to replace lights throughout my home I'll definitely be opting for smart lights in future!

I love having control over the mood of my rooms. I can turn the white light up bright when I want to study or focus on something, I can have a warm, dim light for relaxing, disco lights for parties, and more. I love being able to see light alarms which slowly brighten over a half-hour period, giving me a natural wake-up. Being able to turn my light off without getting up is fantastic.

Originally we tried other brands of smart lighting bulbs but got frustrated by the 'need' to control them with apps or voice commands. The Hue kit allows the control systems but also integrates well with other switching accessories (for example the dimmer or motion sensor). Installation is simple and the mesh network formed seems reliable, even in a reasonably large property.

Its a fun bit of kit, have it set up in the lounge and two bedrooms. Its great for setting moods and also has come in handy when the nipper wouldn't wake up at the weekend, stick that light on Concentrate ( Super Bright!) she was up in no time. So many setting you can create, as ive been know to be a little lazy, this product has been well received by me!!

Bought for kids bedrooms, work well so we can have dimmable lights with bedtime and morning timers. Really helps the kids with morning and bedtime routines. Was easy to setup, also let's them have it on dim as a nightlightHaven't used the colour much after initial playing, in hindsight it's a gimmick we could have gone with white dimmable ones.
