We have a 12 year old son and really struggled with what to get for Christmas as "filler" items. Not stocking fillers, but items a bit more substantial, but not in the electronic 100's pounds bracket and this fitted the bill.It is a fair chunk and is surprisingly heavy, but is a high quality item and will really go well with the rest of his PC set up. A quick test shows it to be exceptionally accurate and big enough to ensure the mouse never reaches the edge, while not being too big to take over the desk (he has a fair size of desk, and we toyed with getting the XL version, but this seems big enough and we think was the right choice).

This mouse mat is brilliant! It arrived in a stylish cardboard sleeve featuring all the needed info and contained the mouse mat itself as well as four gel grips to help stop it slipping. The mouse mat itself is really well built, the aluminium frame gives a professional look while being strong and functional. The fact it is dual sided makes it a great addition to any avid gamers arsenal, one side offers control for games such as MOBA's and MMO's while the other offers speed and precision for the FPS aficionado. The gel grips were also a pleasant bonus as they require no adhesive meaning no tacky glue on my desk and a quick flip of the mouse mat when changing game styles without any hassle.

This mouse mat arrived solidly built and packed in strong card outer with good information on the packaging. no instructions, but generally easy to use.The mat is functional, rather than being a beautiful desk object. It fits in well with all-black systems like mine. The raw aluminium sides covered by solid mousing surface, grippy gel pads and the large size makes it a solid device which will probably hold the weight of a person, so certainly wont be bothered by a mouse. for the ultimate gamer!I believe it has dual sides, one for 'accuracy' and one for 'speed', but I haven't found much difference in use. The unit sits about 4mm above the desk surface due to the gel pads,

Bought this for my husband so he can game in an armchair, after a brief problem with wireless mouse signal, which we resolved by moving the receiver higher, as it was being blocked by the aluminium core, it works brilliantly. Very responsive and accurate gaming.

A great quality mat that's the perfect size. Very smooth and slick on one side and slightly roughr on the other. The price is right and the quality is amazing.
