The perfect amount of bass let you experience bass lines you have never noticed before! This is because of the acoustic resonance chamber which is stunningly intoxicating because of this Afterglows are unbeatable in the wireless headset sound department for the price ranges.Truly an all round universal headset perfect for music, movies, TV and gaming. (fully compatible with PC and PS4)Modes - plays a nice little tune when switchingPure sound is the most common one you will use as it's like the perfect setting for TV, film, games and most music.Bass boost I find is often over powering to the bass,you often get a much better effect by using a bass improvement EQ on a phone or MP3.I would of loved if they had put Virtual Surround Sound aka Immersive Mode as it does make a bit of a difference in games.Mic- is very clear, there is like zero popping or pitching and you can improve it by adding a small boom however it's not really needed.Comfort - is very nice, much lighter than older models, you can where this all day and not experience discomfort.Battery life - You get almost twice as much time as older afterglow 16 hours and you can charge while playing of course.Build quality - is just under the Fener/Nur however for how much more light weight it is it seems to be scaled down in all the right ways.Wireless - has great range, is slightly better than the older versions in terms of quality and wire free.Wired up - there a very slight improvement in sound, mic quality is a fair bit more noticeable.LEDs - Diffused into a nice glow! unlike the older models that had practically exposed LEDs on each side of the ears and the ones on mic reflected in my glasses.Looks - It looks really high end, sleak, stylish and well made.Warning about other Afterglow Headsets!AGU.1S - is torture to wear after half an hour even without glasses! Also transmitter has way to bright LED (same goes for Prismatic Transmitter)Prismatic - Is also to tight not as bad as AGU.1S but still really bad after more than a couple of hours a day.Fener and Nur - has two fatal flaws, this being the worse mic ever coupled with the worse noise cancelling that can't be turned off with the worst placement ever which is on the ear cup which leaks causing feedback. Also when changing modes it not only shouts at you what mode you're in it also takes way to long saying it.I also tried:Corsair H2100 - had perfect build quality but lacked compatible with PS4 for like no reason, lesser wireless range/quality, lesser quality mic and flat bass except highs.CODBO2 Turtle Beach Xray - hissed loudly when using audio jack, sound quality was rather poor even when using 5.1, mic was alittle better than this but not by much... overall build quality was well below the AG9 except the mic and mic arm.Rating 9.8 out of 10, exceptional sound, only marked down because of mic and lack of Virtual Surround Sound, I would of much preferred the older style retractable mic however it's still a great mic that is better than most wireless ones out there.Conclusion even if you have to import this it's a must buy! certainly thee best afterglow around and by far the best value for money.

The positives are simplicity and quality. You plug in the USB dongle and it works instantly. The quality is great (I only use Pure mode), mic quality good, battery life is great. The weight is ok. The only down side is that they are way too tight. My ears are quite sore after a relatively short period. And sometimes I forget about their Vulcan death grip and slide them down onto my neck, at which point they start choking me. When I figure out a way of stretching them so they loosen up then I am sure I will be using for a long time to come.Phillip.
