I was given the product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. Having had a combination microwave many years ago but then reverting back to a standard microwave I was very interested to see how these had improved. Easy to set up with a comprehensive operating manual and cookbook I was soon ready to give it a try. I very much liked the visual prompts on the display screen and with an intuitive control panel I soon became familiar with the various functions. Basic microwaving is a breeze and I was amazed as to how quick I was able to rustle up a cooked breakfast - including delicious scrambled eggs (using the recipe in the cookbook)- something I hadn't tried before - and I definitely didn't have as many pots to wash! For the first time I have also been really pleased with the results when cooking vegetables - brocolli in particular which I have never been able to master before when cooking in a microwave. I found the grill to be very efficient - it seemed odd not preheating before use but as you have to have the door shut when grilling I think this helps to retain and concentrate the heat. The Junior Menu and Auto/Roast functions are really handy - the porridge with milk for hubby and with water for me will be frequently used. The Fresh Vegetable fries also gave great results and it was so easy to cook a single portion as you enter the weight. The top of the microwave does get very hot when using the grill or oven but you are warned about this in the instruction manual when setting up - you definitely need to leave the recommended 6 inch space overhead to allow for air circulation. I was also initially surprised that the fan came on after microwave cooking as well as grill/oven use hence the small 'con' above but I am getting used to it. Overall I am really pleased with the product - I love the look, surprisingly large interior, ease of use and most important the cooking results across all functionality!!

This is now our 3rd Microwave, the first one (not Panasonic) lasted over 25 years but the control knob broke and repairing it was impossible, the second one (again not Panasonic) was really too small and quite noisy so after 2 years we decided to but this Panasonic one. I will be 100% honest and say that we weren't really bothered about the grill and oven and have only used each of then once just to make sure they worked, but they are they in case we need them, you never know, but our main gas cooker has 2 ovens (small and large) and a good grill too. I have bought a lot of Panasonic items over the years, which we still have and use (TV's, Video Recorders, Telephones etc)and I have always been impressed with the build quality and not a single one has ever failed or let us down, so to but a Panasonic Combination Microwave wasn't really a gamble about the make, I knew the quality would not be in question. The only downside was that the feet on the bottom have absolutely no grip at all so when you push the door shut or press the open button it slides all over the place, I managed to cure this by using a 'neoprene grip mesh' that I had purchased that sticks like glue to both the surface and the feet, so the problem was solved, but really that problem shouldn't have occurred in the first place, such as kettles, toasters etc have good 'grippy feet'. The display is excellent and easy to read, and any extra instructions needed are displayed, although the Instruction Book is superb. The interior is stainless, as was our first microwave, and is definitely much better than a plastic one, much easier to clean as you can literally see it 'sparkle' when it is clean, with white plastic you could never really tell. if it was clean. The only 'odd thing' compared to the other two we have had was that the fan runs on for a minute or so after the microwave is turns off but that is OK now. We both REALLY love this microwave after 14 months of use,

I was kindly given this microwave by Panasonic Reviewer Program to try, test and review this product. I had years ago one of the first Panasonic combo microwaves to come out and didn't think they could possibly improve on it but they have. I love how easy it is to use for myself who is disabled and my young carer daughter. Love all the features that are included in Panasonic NN-CT55JW and how you're given a really in-depth operating manual which includes a cookbook, I have never had a product that has ever had that included. I have to admit I haven't tested out every single part of what this microwave can do but with what I've used so far it's far better than any other microwave I've purchased.Doesn't take up any room at all which I was amazed by with having previous combination microwaves, the space inside is amazing as I wasn't expecting it to be so spacious. This weekend I'm going to do a roast dinner in it and I know that this microwave can handle it, with previous microwave combinations I have been let down by. I have made vegetable soup in my Panasonic microwave and it was so easy to do and the soup came out perfect and was so much quicker than using a slow cooker. I've also made cheese on toast in it as I like to do this test in every combi microwave I've had and that also was so easy and quick. I have already recommended this to other family members who have always bought Panasonic products, love that you can also child lock the microwave too. There is not one thing I don't like about this microwave, there are actually so many features that I can write about but I would end up writing a book on them. All I can say if you're in need of a new Combination Microwave this is the one to buy, I couldn't recommend it any higher.

I live in a small flat so everything I bring into my home has to be great, function well and fit in with my modern, eclectic decor. This oven ticks all the boxes. Style wise it blends in with my modern kitchen effortlessly. Perfect size (smaller than my previous micro that didn't have oven function), as I dislike it when an appliance takes up too much space on my worktop. I'm also very green and used to feel guilty to heat up the oven and waste energy on making a dish just for myself or for two which can be done with ease in this microwave oven instead, plus faster too. This is my first microwave that has the oven functions and I have to say I was sceptical about until I tried it.I love cooking and I cook every day. This oven not just saves energy and time for me but also the dishes that come out are just as good as from the oven. I was particularly impressed how it cooks fish to perfection as in the conventional oven I almost always overcooked it. Before I tried this oven I was also sceptical about making baked potatoes anywhere else other than a conventional oven as I like the skin crispy and the inside perfectly cooked and soft. However, since trying this Panasonic combination oven I will not be going back to my big oven! Now I'm using my big oven much less which is great not just to save energy but in the summer my flat is too warm and the conventional oven made it unbearable. This combination microwave solved that issue too. I can only recommend. I was given the product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program.

I was given this product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. Upon unpacking I realised that it was a quality product - solid, well made and although a large capacity (easily takes our large casserole dish) didn't seem to take up too much space in the kitchen, plus the lovely white gloss appearance fitted in with my kitchen cabinets. I tried a number of things from jackets on auto roast, which cooked really nicely and the skins were lovely and brown and crisp. I grilled various items, all of which came out well, although I did struggle at first to get the wire rack in the correct position for the turntable to spin but soon got that sorted. I made some scones in the oven, which was really quick to do (no preheating of the oven required). I defrosted some bread. Made the frittata recipe in the microwave from the Junior Section of the recipe book (which was very well received and really quick to do!). My husband made the spaghetti bolognese recipe in the microwave which was very tasty and because it was made in the micro created very little mess for me to clear up! Perhaps the best thing for me though (not being the best at reading instruction books from start to finish) were the on-screen prompts advising what accessories should be used with with which function - very useful! This is the first time I have had a combination microwave oven and grill I certainly feel as if it has made me look/think again at how I work in the kitchen.

I was given the product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. I had so much confidence in Panasonic I gave my previous 6 month old microwave away. The new 3-in-1 Combination Microwave Oven - NN-CT55JWBPQ version doesn't disappoint! I've thoroughly tested it and the results were outstanding. I made chicken kebabs, using the microwave to defrost the chicken and then grilled on skewers with veg, amazing. I use it every day for my two year old for various meals such as rice and jacket potatoes. The size of the microwave will suit every kitchen and it looks the part too. It also doesn't move when you push the button to open the door which can be very annoying. There are so many presets and functions that make cooking a lot easier and the display with next step instructions is brilliant! If you are looking to buy a microwave then buy this one, just superb!

We all know a Panasonic make good Products, and my parents first Microwave back in the early '80's was also a Panasonic, and lasted for decades. However, the game has moved on, and this 'multicooking' version will not only microwave, grill and convect, but, via the various easy access programs, combine its skills to provide really well cooked food! Jacket spuds are moist inside, crisp outside and 12-15 minutes away, almost worth buying this Microwave for alone, but defrosting is also staggeringly accurate. You will love the simplicity of these programmed features, just get a little digital scales, punch in the type of food, weight and the Panasonic does the rest perfectly.I am just so pleased I bought this (based on other reviews) and consequently use it more regularly than originally planned. Their TV's are also excellent by the way!

I bake and find that it produces a good bake, only problem is fitting in a muffin tin. Its great for heating up pies as the crusts are always crispy. Also produces a fairly good baked potato. The only problem I found is that those less experienced seem to have trouble guaging the oven cook time. I find it bakes faster than my main oven so have to adjust the time. My friend who doesnt really cook is for ever leaving things in hers for too long as she bases the time on the instructions on the packet. as a result she over cooks things quite a bit. The grill also works fairly well so started using it a bit more. I took time to choose a microwave with an integral oven, this one has proved to be very good.My only grip is its noisy buy they you cant have everything. Steamed veggies are perfect

Our previous microwave was a Panasonic, lasted for years. Only replaced as a bit noisy & door a bit loose. This one is every bit as good and hopefully will last as long.. However the feet are rubbish - you have to hold the unit to stop it moving on the worksurface when pressing the door catch - the old feet worked so why change?? The platter mech only has one lug, the old one three which seemed a sturdier design. Hopefully it will work for as long as its predecessor. On the old model "Micropower" was the default - now I have to remember to select it first ! Otherwise a great quality microwave , easy to use. Hopefully it will be as good as the one it replaced (I changed the turntable motor,in 15 years that was all it needed and was still working.. !!)

Buying this model was perhaps overkill for the use we make of it - mainly heating and reheating - but we wanted a top-quality make that we could rely on for several years' use, and we have not been disappointed. Niggles on design: - very hard to read the lettering on buttons in the dimly lit corner which is the only available space in our kitchen - BACKLIT POSSIBLE??? - I have poor vision and podgy fingers, and sometimes press the wrong button when I want to heat up food or liquid - SOME FEELABLE DIVIDE BETWEEN BUTTONS POSSIBLE? - the plastic catches on the open door are over 2 cm long - and one has to be very careful not to catch a sleeve on them - could be dangerous with hot food or liquid- RETRACTING CATCHES POSSIBLE?

This was a replacement for a previous Panasonic multi functional microwave, which I had used for about 20 years, when it eventually died. I live alone and find the microwave so useful for cooking - less electricity used, quicker to cook smaller quantities etc. I am so impressed with the auto programmes, particularly the Fresh Vegetables one. Perfect results every time, even when mixing, e.g. root veg and leafy veg. Great for heating a small quantity of milk for coffee - no pan to clean and won't boil over if timed using Quick 30. Using the grill - food doesn't burn and cooks perfectly if the guidelines are followed - no need to keep checking the food as it grills.I do not eat meat and am unable to comment on that.

I have bought Panasonic combination microwaves for the last 20-years. With the older versions I didn't have to press microwave I just used to have to put the minutes in and it automatically chose microwave mode. This version you have to press microwave first which I find slightly annoying. However I do like the quick cook button which is very handy. My other Panasonic combination microwaves did not steam up like this one does I have to dry it down very often which is a nuisance when you're busy. I can't understand why it does this. I have not tried the automatic settings so I can't give an opinion.Having said all that I still like my Panasonic combination microwave and would not choose another.

While waiting for a new hob, my microwave is used for my main meals. New potatoes are ready within 4.5 minutes, and a stew will be ready, with tender meat in a short period of time. I cook a fillet of breaded fish at 7 minutes per side, on a "crisping tray", and it is tender and succulent. For a powerful unit, it is disappointing that the lowest time measurement is 10 seconds, which could be the difference between well done and charred! I find that vegetables can be a little "hit and miss", with broccoli stems being stringy. Sausages cooked on the rack, under the grill take a long time, as the grill does not seem very powerful, and toast will take 3.5 minutes per side for very light browning.

I use the convection oven daily as it cooks much better than a conventional oven, this is my fourth Panasonic combination oven, the previous three were very similar but that model is no longer available. The previous models had a low wire rack in the tray but this is no longer provided which means that things do not cook as well as the air cannot get under the container with the food in, also, I have burned my fingers several times on the tip of the tray trying to get a dish or baking tray out of the oven. This omission is definitely a minus, I would have given this model five stars and an excellent rating if not for this.

Use for heating soups and reheating food. Chaos defrost button used regularly. Cooking puddings i.e. fruit crumbles. Have not used for joints as yet. However, losing the buttons for jack potatoes and other functions and now having to look up how to get these functions by using microwave power and grill etc is making it more difficult to use and sometimes very frustrating. Having no babies in the house we do not need those functions. We were disappointed not be to able to find a model that just replaced our previous from Panasonic, and had the function buttons that we used regularly. It is more difficult to use.
