I use the microwave everyday for heating up milk for breakfast. I also frequently use it to heat up food (as I often cook in bulk, more than half my meals are "leftovers"), and for this the 520 W setting is ideal for keeping the food moist, evenly heated and not re-cooked. The 800 W setting does well on the rare "ready-made" meal. I have also used the Combi Grill for cooking: chicken, duck, salmon, roasted vegetables, and they all came out fully cooked, nicely moist and, of course, all this at a fraction of the time it would take me to achieve the same effect in the oven. The microwave is small, so I can't really fit a full chicken (as I do in my mom's bigger), or big pyrexs.and even my mains plates only fit at an angle, which means I can't heat food on them (instead I heat up food in bowls or pyrexs and then plate them). My kitchen is too small for a bigger microwave, so. The Grill I'm less happy about: I've not managed to crisp or toast using the Grill to my satisfaction, as the toasting is uneven and takes ages (I always end up using the Combi is exasperation). I never use the Auto Programmes, so I can't say if they are useful or not: I much prefer to look at the tables and make my own. As for cleaning, it is nice and easy to keep clean. It does make some noise (I think I have been noticing it more of late, but I can't tell if it's always been there or if it's picked up lately), but you'll find plenty noisier microwaves. I would recommend it to someone who wants a nice small microwave with Combi Grill, or cooking for a couple: but not if they are looking for cooking for a whole family or have space for something a bit bigger.

This Panasonic Microwave NN-K18JMMBPQ - I believe represents good value, it’s a compact microwave and has a smaller footprint. It is a quick and easy to use Microwave and Grill combi oven, however, for me the combi times and grill usage was hard to figure out what timing to use for other goods. I found that there are a few forums on the net that will help you, from other people who have used the same oven for other types of foods. Nonetheless still an affordable and not heavy microwave. It should fit anywhere in a kitchen and blend-in with silver/grey appliances that are already there.I have used this microwave to reheat, defrost and cook various types of food and the performance was good and the food tasted nice and warmed up well throughout without cold spots/areas.In general, this is a really smart looking and well-designed microwave. It does well in reheating and defrosting. The heating performance is fast and effective, the build is durable and the design is compact. Has a smaller footprint and find this more suitable to my needs.

To be honest I took one star off the Easy to Clean because of the fact that it had a recess that made it a little trickier than a lot of other models but at the end of the day, that was because I was being very picky about that one thing. Other than that I really can't fault it.In a time when space is at a premium in most homes, items tend to have to be multifunctional to warrant space in your kitchen. Having a grill within the microwave makes this so much better as it gives you a lot of versatility with the food that you're preparing. The micro output is bang on 800 Watts and for me reheats the food precisely to the way I like it as well as having good air filtration through the various slits to help avoid the steam built up that occurs in a lot of earlier models.Add to this a known brand name and the fact that I last bought a Panasonic Micro years ago and I'm only just replacing it. Says enough about the build quality. Really can't fault it.

I am an infrequent user of a microwave, in fact I didn't have one for a couple of years after I moved into my new house. Increasingly though an occasional need for it has become apparent, and I was looking for a compact one that took the least space in my kitchen and still did the job. I use it to warm up cooked food, cook an occasional microwaved meal, and also warm up things like milk for a child's breakfast. So far it worked a treat and looks nice and compact on my counter. It's one of the very few good quality "small" microwave ovens in the market so I would recommend it to people who need to use it occasionally, for a smaller amount of food, or short on space.

This is a replacement for a very old Panasonic microwave that we have had for at least 25 years and cost Ten Times the asking price of this model. To be honest apart from the slightly lightweight feel to the casing and the slightly smaller size this does everything that our old microwave did...like the small grill and rack.So far this new model is proving very good although the interior has a recessed area that will need an extra clean from time to time. The silver casing is attractive and the side air vents allow for better ventilation of the unit. I’m sure the fact it is from a tried and tested manufacturer will prove a bonus.

Actually, this is a microwave that will fit in any kitchen, but it comes out top for a small kitchen, and for someone who will be doing more reheating than cooking - so ideal for students.Three things stand out for me. One, that small footprint - this will fit just about anywhere, but still fits 20l inside. Two, the grill - it won't make a great souffle, but it will reheat a pizza in minutesand Three, it has seven useful presets - being able to pop in a potato and then ignore it for 14 minutes and get a nicely crisped jacket takes care of all the student calorie needs which aren't covered by kebabs and pot noodles.

I got this for my son who has recently moved in to his own, small space rented accommodation and it was perfect in both its small size and didn't come with the bells and whistles of more expensive models. It's ideal for reheating ready meals from chilled, jacket potatoes come out particularly well as you're able to crisp the ski using the inbuilt grill. The 30 second and 1 minute time set buttons make manually setting cooking times a breeze, and so far, the auto cook button have worked to perfection. All in all, a good value versatile microwave/grill from Panasonic. Recommended.

I miss my old Panasonic 1100w oven/grill/microwave but I didn't have room for the 27 litre size in a new kitchen. ( It lives on though in use with my daughter in law.) With a new kitchen in the offing, and now living on my own, I started looking for a smaller sized multi oven to replace the big one that did it all. There was nothing on the market but the NN-K18JMMBPQ came closest. This was bought to fit in small elevated position and despite the reduced functionality, was a good buy and cleared a large space on my work surface.

Don't have masses of space for a microwave but this model fits really well into the space available due to its compact footprint. However, for a small microwave it certainly delivers on performance. Microwave function is perfect and the grill is an added bonus. I don't use auto programmes a great deal, but the jacket potato programme produces excellent results for a quick lunch. Usual excellent Panasonic build quality. Nicely finished and smart looking. Excellent value at this price, can't find fault with it at all.

This is our second Panasonic microwave oven. The other one was ‘borrowed’ by our daughter for her new flat.It is a small oven, with a neat look to it.The microwave is 800 watts, and the grill is 1000watts.Good for reheating convenience food, making jacket spuds, grilling cheese sandwiches and that sort of thingPretty versatile overall, with a few useful presets to get you started. Not really big enough to do ‘proper’ cooking, but at this sort of size and price you wouldn’t really expect that.

Bought this to replace very old Panasonic combo microwave. The controls are very similar and thus was very easy to use. The microwave is every bit as fast as the 850w that it replaced even though it is rated as 800w. The grill is not as fast and the top of the microwave can get hot if used for any length of time. We are pleased with it although I doubt if it will last as long as the previous Panasonic which gave 15 years trouble free service and replaced because it was too big for new kitchen.

This may be the best value microwave-grill appliance on the market, which is sad really, as it's not as good as our Tricity that has died after 30 years! That had 10 sensor settings whereas this Panasonic only has 3 'auto cook' settings: chilled meal; frozen meals; fresh vegetables. We had: frozen vegetables as well as fresh vegetables; fresh fish; sauces, reheat on the Tricity. But because this has a grill, the baked potato setting produces jacket potatoes like they've been in a proper oven.

This is a great microwave, which looks neat and tidy and fits perfectly in my small kitchen. With both a microwave and grill, it has all the features you need to make a quick meal, which is especially helped by the addition features of performing multiple actions in succession. For example, you can program for 5 minutes of microwaving, to follow immediatly with 2 minutes of grilling. This is such a useful feature which is something I wouldn't have thought I needed, but I now use frequently.

This Panasonic microwave/grill has the advantage of browning your food slightly with the use of combination cooking, does a nice jacket potato, not totally crispy as an oven would do but in a fraction of the time than the traditional method. Easy layout and controls with a 30 sec button for instant warming. Just adds a little extra to a microwave alone, a good price at the time of purchase was cheaper a standard micro. Put that together with Argos Fast Track service had it the next day.

I bought this to replace an old Panasonic microwave that had given up the ghost. Always pleased with the look and e of use Of Panasonic products and this one is the same. Using the combi function to do jacket potatoes is too time consuming so I just use regular microwave for those. Does get a lot o condensation inside but that's easily wiped out with a piece of kitchen paper. Would definitely recommend this microwave and will be happy to buy Panasonic again if needed
