I bought this camera to replace a very old compact camera and to take family and holiday pictures. So far I am very pleased with the results. Left on the intelligent auto setting the pictures look great but the settings are easy to adjust if needed, in fact I could do this without reading the instructions which shows how intuitive the interface is. I have even set up the wifi and uploaded pictures online all without the aid of the instructions. The face recognition feature is great for picking out learned faces in a crowd and the in built filters create some great effects. The supplied lens is super sharp but does not provide much zoom (about x3 times) so I will be buying another lens soon to take full advantage of the camera.

I am an SLR user and have two really good cameras and lenses. An upcoming vacation to Hong Kong and Indonesia demands great pictures but its not a photography trip. The thought of lugging around big cameras for three weeks through multiple airports didn't exit me. So I researched and bought this. For now I am still getting familiar and using the camera so I don't miss an opportunity when away (June '18). Its fantastic, and one thing that has particularly struck me is.....the various auto and scene modes are exceptional. I have been testing - eg same shot on Auto and then A,S,P setting and boring as it seems using it as a point and click straight out of the box would not let you down.

I'm please with the results so far on this after my E-620 four thirds SLR. I've had a few problems with using the view finder (my nose alters the focus point on the touch screen!) but that's only a niggle. I like the articulated view finder - which has been really useful for wild life shots using the 45-200mm lens. Results are good. Improved IS over the e-620, plus smaller apertures from better performance at higher ISO's (the e-620 was useless over ISO400) mean using the 45-200 handheld is a reasonable proposition. I particualry like the fact I can get the camera, the 12-32mm and the 35-100mm in a (baggy) coat pocket.

I bought this for my partner as she wanted something less bulky than a DSLR. All I can say is wow! Taking its styling cues from the 35mm autoatics of the 50's through 70's, it's light, robust, and easy to get to grips with. The 180 degree screen is great for selfie fans, but you don't want to waste it on such frivolous vanity shots: Pointed at the right scene it turns every click of the shutter button into a work of art. We're looking forward to trying some different lenses on it, and really pushing the limits of what it can do, which seem boundless at this point!Not cheap, but a wonderful solution to the issue of wanting DSLR quality and features, without DSLR bulk.

If you want a cheap basic camera which does all you need but nothing more, this is ideal. The photo quality is amazing for such a small camera, and the camera itself is very easy to use. The only downside, as said with many other online reviews is the sounds in the video, but this is minor and only really occurs when videoing quiet scenes. Would be good to see a firmware update to fix it, saying that I brought this camera for photos and it's absolutely amazing!! If you only video once in a while, and you're tossing up, still go for this camera. Because it's not the biggest deal!

I am so pleased with this camera and glad i chose it! I spent alot of time reading reviews to help with my decision and this camera does not disappoint! It's easy to set up and use with a clear instruction manual and you can watch video tutorials online for advanced functions and hints/tips. The touch screen is super and being able to use the selfie mode has made family pictures so much easier too!

I bought the camera two weeks ago for trip. It's perfect for any type of photography including great videos! Love retro design. I was looking for perfect camera- small but with great optics. And I found it! Great compromis between dslr camera which is huge and Little pocket camera Where photo quality not always is satisfying.

Lots of good features and easy to use. Colour rE production very good .i would recomenbthis camerawomen to any type of camera enthusiast and first time user since I bought this camera I have not used my larger bslr of another make decausethis camera dose more and iOS deter to use with more reatures
