Full frame mirrorless camera for the price of an entry level dslr, what's not to like.Maybe not the latest version of the A7 from Sony but it's still a current model and gains access to the e-mount system for a bargain price. The camera is small and neat, reminds me of a Spotmatic or A series Canon from the 70's or 80's and handles well in this comparison.The only minor downside so far is battery life. Get a couple of spares and/or use a battery grip to get round the problem.Does most things well but not as comfortable with a large heavy lens as the equivalent DSLR would be, so keep that in mind if you use those lenses often.Otherwise a very nice bit of kit.

The A7 is almost as compact and light as APS-C cameras but provides the amazing shallow depth of field capabilities you can only get with a full frame setup. It's not the last word in sports photography but for portrait, landscape and street photography there is nothing much to compete at this price point with the full frame benefits. The image quality is fantastic provided you master the focusing and Sony are consistently voted highest for colour reproduction in blind tests. Sony also now have some good value third party lenses available so you don't have to spend a fortune to have good glass anymore.

I did plenty of research before taking the plunge and for sure its worth every penny I paid. Recently invest in a 55mm Zeiss and getting some amazing portraits. It small light ideal for holidays or taking out on nearly any occasion.Plenty of videos on YouTube teaching you how to use it to the full potential.

The Sony A7 is unique in terms of allowing various 3rd party lenses to be fitted, including older lenses that can be purchased very cheaply. This makes it great fun to experiment with all sorts of lenses as long as you don't mind trying manual focusing.

Amazing camera, with fantastic sensor dynamic range. It is the most you will receive for your money. It is also one of the smallest size and weight full frame (if not the smallest) and this is particularly something very much appreciated.

Very happy with this camera, Bought It for a shoot and worked very well. Well worth the investment, Will be replacing the other Full Frame in my camera bag. Will be looking at buying another early next year

Absolutely great camera! Love it! I'm considering to get a A7r instead of A7 cuz i realy like the fountion of a7 and want even more pixels(also 24.3mp is enough, i still want more after i got this a7).

Brilliant camera with excellent image quality. Add to that the OSS facility on suitable E-Mount lenses and your results will be even better!

Very pleased with this camera! It’s different then Canon I used to use, but I am glad I’ve made a change to a Sony!
