This mouse is very similar to my Steelseries Sensei. Both are ambidextrous and use laser sensors, are reasonably light, gimmick free, well built and have fairly extensive software packages. The Neon looks very stylish if that is your thing. The only illumination is the scroll wheel whose colour changes to reflect the dpi setting so the mouse is nice and understated. Tracking is superb and the glide is smooth - the Neon uses two large teflon glides similar to the Zowie mice.Compared to the Sensei the Neon is a little flatter - it lacks the rear hump of the Sensei and is more similar in shape to the Steelseries Kana but larger. I'm a low sensitivity gamer (typically 400-800 dpi)so the 6400 maximum dpi setting is irrelevant to me although it still shows it is a quality sensor. Lift off distance and ease of lifting the mouse are more important to me at low sensitivities. Lift off distance is superbly low but the Neon is not as easy to lift as the Sensei which has a slightly more pronounced scoop on both sides to aid lifting. This could probably be cured by coating the sides in real rubber as opposed to rubber paint as the Steelseries Rival does. However this would spoil the looks of the Neon as the Rival is an ugly mouse. The single dpi switch on the Neon is closer to the scroll wheel than that on the Sensei which I prefer and I normally remap this to a more useful function as I rarely change dpi in-game. The mouse has onboard memory so you don't need the software running in the background permanently and the mouse retains its settings when moved to another computer.Overall I think this is a great mouse if you like looks and simplicity and has quickly become one of my favourites along with the Steelseries Sensei and Kana, the Razer Deathadder, the Zowie EC1 and the Func MS-2.Hope this helpsMag

I've had a number of 'gaming' mouses (mice?) over the years, and they do tend towards being overly-sculpted for ergonomic comfort. This is fine if you're a right-handed user, which I am, but it means my wife can't use the mouse as she is left-handed. So whenever she wants to use the PC she has to swap out the mouse for something more pedestrian, or risk RSI from using an ill-fitting mouse. The OZONE bridges the gap between your bog-standard, generic office mouse and the super-sculpted, LED-lit beast that I use. It is purposefully shaped to be used in either hand, and has a lovely stylised grippy surface. It's extremely responsive and feels good in the hand. My PC is displayed through a 40" TV,about 1.5 metres from my desk. This gives a very similar hand-movement to mouse-pointer movement ratio as you'd get from, say, a 19" desktop monitor positioned right in front of your keyboard. Therefore I need a very sensitive mouse capable of moving swiftly from one side of the screen to the other. This mouse ticks all the boxes in that respect. The only place it is let down is the lack of programmable buttons - some gamers will really miss this option for certain games like MMOs, or Diablo III. Personally I tend not to bother so I don't miss it. This is a good value mouse that will look and perform well in both an office and a gaming-den, so if your PC fills both functions this is definitely a mouse to consider.

My boyfriend has a habit of not using his cordless mouse on his laptop and “borrowing” my corded mouse instead, so when I was given this to review, I passed it onto him. It’s obviously a good sign that I haven’t had my mouse taken since, and that boyfriend has stuck with the review one. He likes the fact that the cable is really flexible as it’s braided, not extruded, and the mouse itself is smooth and responsive. However, we’re not quite sure why it’s called a gaming mouse, as there’s no “extra” buttons or functions, and it’s not noticeably faster. All in all, a good mouse, but not great, and not really different enough to justify the price tag.

This is a decent mouse; as far as the gaming brands are concerned, I hadn't heard of Ozone, and there are some higher-end (and more keenly price) items out there on the market. This is evidently aimed at the more budget-conscious gamer. In the main, this mouse does deliver. It's ergonomic, got enough programmable keys for most FPS and RPG games, and is light and responsive.A nice addition to entry-level gaming kit. Not many bells and whistles, but you get what you pay for. This is a decent, reasonably-performing mouse aimed at the budget to match.

Was very pleased to receive my new mouse! It's very well made and durable, the mouse has a smooth click and has fluid movement which makes desktop use easy! Some of the buttons are placed in a way that means I might accidentally click them, however that's my big hands! It's a great mouse though and I fully recommend it!
