Wow. I picked these up as I have been searching for replacement bulbs for my GLITTER lava lamp. I have managed to fit some golf ball bulbs in there but they're under powered in terms of the heat generated for the convection. This bulb is enough to move the glitter, brighten the room and uses less electricity than the normal incandescent bulbs. What's more their yellowy tone looks very authentic.However, I do not recommend these for wax based lava lamps.
