This trendy black spotlight is going to look ace in my new house, as we are going for a slightly industrial/contemporary look, and am favouring black over stainless steel, so it will fit in with the overall design ethos I’m going for. The design is fairly substantial and doesn’t appear flimsy.I am familiar with the OSRAM brand and know them more for their bulbs than their fitments, but I’m confident that the manufacturing quality is decent from what I can tell. This particular fitment is well-made although I would have preferred the bulb mount section to be a bit stiffer to make it stay assured in the position you set it at.It takes a GU10 bulb (included in this particular one,

I love the vintage bulb look that you see everywhere now but i cant actually see whats vintage about this! It a nice solid black spot lamp that you can adjust the angle of. Its made for walls and ceilings according to the amazon page but the box advises its a wall lamp. I would say it looks more like a wall light but thats just my opinion.This feels solid and well made. It takes a large screw in bulb max wattage 60w. It swivels 180 degrees round then tilts 180 degrees so make sure you put it the right way up for where you want it to mostly point. Its problem is that it doesnt want to stay where you put it. It drifts to its prefered position.

This is a good quality item and it was fairly easy to fit. I chose to wall mount it but as it doesn't have a channel for the cable I had to drill a small hole in the base. It allowed me to push the cable through and have it still be flush. Having a old rural house the brickwork is not as consistent as more modern houses so I ended up with barely any of the bolts clearing the base plate, but they were just enough to fit it.It looks rather nice but I was disappointed that there was no LED bulb with it like the description said "Accessories: LED PAR16 spot lamp included". Luckily it is a fairly common fitting and I found a spare bulb.There is a fairly decent amount of of movement available as I rotate it from the base,

I am not familiar with a lot of different light fittings and could not have commented prior to this review on whether or not OSRAM was a quality brand, with a good build or not but I would say that having been supplied with, mounted and used this one I would trust other branded OSRAM goods would be of good quality.The spotlight mount takes a single edison screw fitting bulb and is supplied with screws, plugs to mount it with, the fittings are accompanied by instructions which it is easy enough to follow.While the fitting mounts in one place on a roof or wall, it can be angled to spotlight as you choose. I think this is ideal either as an additional lighting to illuminate an attic or loft space or a garage.

A wonderfully finished matt black, all metal light fitting, that takes a single Edison screw fitting bulb. It is supplied with a couple of screws and plugs to mount it, and because of its quality build it needs to be securely fastened onto a ceiling or wall . You can direct the bulb to the angle that you want it to focus on. The design of the fitting is ideal in a modern setting or if you don't want to see it then ideal against a black ceiling. Whereas it is fien alone, in some settings I can see three or four of them being used for maximum effect. It delivers a great light because there is nothing between you and the bulb - no covering or shield, just the light of the bulb,

I didn't know if the LED light bulb would be with this light but there is a warm glow bulb, which is a bonus. I didn't put it up, my partner did and he made a good job of it. We've put it where there is a lack of natural light and it does the job. The one I was offered was the matt black on.You can use the spotlight for lighting up dark corners or to direct it at paintings etc as you should desire. It does have a slightly industrial look about it and therefore it would look OK in most modern settings. It looks nice and is useful. We had to do some patching-up on the wall afterwards, but that was to be expected. I'll have to get the paint pot out.I'm sure it will be well used over time,

This is a functional and adjustable lamp holder, suitable for general illumination or as a spotlight, since you can change the angle and the rotation of the lamp. It's an attractive matt black, and takes a lamp up to 60W, so more than enough for any contemporary LED light, and enough for an incandescent lamp if you still have them. This is an E27 fit, aka Edison screw, of the kind that are common in Europe and at Ikea. It will not take a bayonet-fit bulb.The styling is described as 'vintage' but I would be more inclined to describe it as futuristic, especially as there is no provision for fitting a lampshade of any kind,

I currently have 2 of these installed in my cinema room and they look great on my wall. The slightly industrial look is a great contrast to the décor in my home, and the adjustability makes them great for re-positioning when I change around the configuration of the room for more/less seats when I have parties. The build quality is great and replacement bulbs are easily available. I use Hue compatible bulbs in both units, and the bulbs are picked up by the 'bridge' with no problems.Overall I highly recommend this product. Well made and look great. Kudos, Osram.

A sleek little metal spotlight, movable but you have to fix it with the screw to keep it's position. It's good as a feature spot for something that the promo photos have given examples of - lighting up a shelf, or a car, or something singular where you don't want a wash out with a too-powerful light. It looks best in a garage or industrial-styled room.Quality is great, GU10 bulbs are easy to source.My only criticism is that it's a bit pricey for a light, but then I do like it, so if you're looking for something like this then it's worth it.

This is a high quality single spotlight from Osram. It is beautifully designed and has an all metal body in matt black and comes with a dimmable LED GU10 bulb. It has a retro "art deco" look with clean lines and blends in well with other period features. The lamp swivels along two axes meaning it is easy to move to whatever position you want. The body needs to be positioned directly over the power cable as there isn't a cleft to run a cable from the side. Installation is otherwise easy. It looks absolutely fab and I love it.

Simple but quality.This lamp would complement a wide range of decors with it's simplistic styling and matt black finish. If feels weighty when you get it out of the box and there is nothing fragile about it. The instructions are simple and part of the fixings remain on show adding to the slightly industrial Art-Deco feel of the lamp.It can be ceiling mounted or on wall, depending on preference and can be angled through 360 degrees for chosen effect.A warm white bulb is even included in the box, so it is ready to go!

Love this spot light. It comes with fitting instructions and a suitable LED bulb. It does come either in double or in black and gold. Mine is the single one and plain black. It is well made and lives up well to the good name of Osram. It is ideal for crafts and hobbies or for highlighting favourite photographs. My husband insists it is ideal for car repairs . It was quickly connected to electricity and is now shining on the photographs of my 3 beautiful great grandchildren. I love it.

A very well made, good looking spot light in a brushed black finish. Ideally you need to feed the power supply through your wall if you're going to use it for external lighting. I installed it in my loft so was able just to run a mains cable to and install a cheap on/off switch for when we need to use. It gives a good spread of warm light and is sturdily made. One star deducted because of its high price point which for a single spot light I felt was rather expensive.

I really like the minimalist feel to this spotlight. It’s plain black and is very sturdy. You get inside a couple of screws and plus to attach it to your ceiling and then either you or an electrician have to feed your electrical cable through into it. It doesn’t come with a bulb which is a bit disappointing but did give us the opportunity to choose our own at least. There is a small set of paper instructions inside which are easy enough to follow.
