Bought as a quality replacement for a series of GU10 LED bulbs that keep failing - other cheaper versions I bought don't live up to the claim that they will keep going for 3,000 - 5,000 hours. I have approx 25 GU10 bulbs in the house (kitchen, 2 bathrooms, an office). The Osram gives a good light and I'll wait and see how long it lasts. One benefit I have seen from using LED bulbs is a reduction in our electricity usage; as our life style hasn't changed over the last two years I think in part this must be due to LED lighting. Caveat emptor: this is a totally unscientific view re the reduction in electricity usage.

Bought to replace 4 x 50W halogens. These lights are good for a bedroom, but they did buzz a little after I installed them. I replaced the 9-year old Dimmer switch with a trailing edge and now they work fine. I note however that the dimmable Aurora LED bulbs I used elsewhere in the house don't buzz, even with the old leading-edge dimmers.
