I have bought cheaper LED lamps than these before, but they haven't been reliable, or have had poor light output - I even had two cheap ones that exploded, damaging the ceiling above them! These Osram lamps are more expensive, but none have failed, and they provide a consistent, warm, well directed light. The colour temperature is ideal for domestic use. Highly recommended
