Used this Osram Bulb (800+ Lumens) to replace Sylvania LED Bulbs (360 Lumen). The Osram is brighter. I recco these if you want that ‘extra’ light for reverse without going into the work of adding auxiliary lights. If you want super bright reverse light, then auxiliary lighting is the go to. If you need just a little ‘extra’, then do the Osram. Hat Tip to Crashes and Turns for the idea.Used the socket pinch method and added a little NoAlox Electric Grease on the Prongs for cool runnings. Also, scored a few light barbs on the Prongs using a sharp razor for added ‘bite’. Got these for $15 (both) in early Jan 2021. Now priced at $32 (both whoa!).

In order to get these bulbs to seat well in an automotive bulb socket, I found that I had to bend in the socket tabs (using a thin screwdriver) and then also bend the prongs into an "S" shape. You have to use 2 pairs of pliers, because you MUST guard against the prong bending putting any stress on the glass. So one pliers holds the prong firmly and the other pliers bends it. This arrangement allowed the bulbs to seat well & secure in an automotive application. Brightness is a little more than DOUBLE the original incandescent bulbs. The tint is warm, but leans neutral. Very natural. It does not get hot (left it on for 5 full minutes on a mild day--did not feel any hotness to the light housing.

Used these on my 2013 Tacoma. I read about them in the forum. You have to bend the prongs a little to fit but they do fit once you do and cause no issues. These are super bright, about 1.5 to 2x brighter than stock. And 5x brighter than any led you can put in there. Yea the led bulbs have a better color output but that’s it. I’ve had these in for 3 months or more now. I’ve drove from Colorado to California and I’ve done some serious off-roading and they’re still working great even with modding the prongs to fit.

2014 Gmc Acadia reverse lights.Installed both a week ago, working great so far with no issues.2 to 3 times brighter than stock bulbs.OE bulb 921 270 lumens 19to21 wattsThis bulb 870 lumens 35 watts.Bend socket contact tabs almost closed, gently push and tiny wiggle, bulb will go further in to socket and grab tangs well.Higher wattage so use at you own risk.I do not recommend doing and I assume no responsibility if you choose to install.

Excellent replacement for the 921 reverse bulb in the 3rd Generation Toyota Tacoma.I did not reshape the pins. I squeezed the socket connectors slightly tighter, and roughed up the pins with 120 grit emery cloth. You can almost see yesterday behind you.

Very good replacement reverse lamps for auto use. Used in a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Current draw is within circuit specs. Got the info and how to from Tacomaworld forum. Like having headlights on both ends. Thanks @crashinburn80.

Chose these to upgrade stock reverse lights on Toyota Tacoma. These lights are noticeably brighter than stock bulbs. They do not get hot enough for any damage with prolonged use. Just plug and play on my 2013 Tacoma

Made them fit into my 2020 toyota and they are super bright! Don't leave it in reverse too long cause they run hot ie minutes.
