I needed an amplifier to boost the signal from an indifferent aerial which I could not replace. I already had a high gain amplifier/splitter to distribute the signal but this was not enough. I also had a problem, in that, the local mobile tower have recently been upgraded from G2 to G4 and I had Freeview on C59 disturbed. With no amplifier, none of my receivers would detect any signal from the aerial. This device solved all the problems, I hooked it up in front of the amp/splitter and adjusted the gain on the splitter finding a position which allowed all my sets to receive all the channels with no issues. This device is a definite alternative to a bigger aerial which may cause its ownproblems.Definitely recommend if you have a low signal level from the aerial.

The One-For All SV9601 TV & Radio Signal Booster is excellent because of its high amplification gain factor of up to 25 deciBels along with its high signal to noise ratio and very low noise figure. In practice this means that a signal which breaks up without the booster comes through solidly when the booster is used. This product represents superb value for money because other products with similar claims are far more expensive than the One-For-All SV9601, and, having tried some of these competitors, they don't actually work as well as the One-For All SV9601.

I'm in a bad signal area and have an expensive booster fitted to the TV in the living room. That works but I still have trouble in bad weather. The SV9601 1 Way TV Signal Booster is fitted to the TV upstairs. It certainly improved the signal but it's still not 100%, but good enough for me. It's very small and one of the cable connectors is a bit loose, which could contribute to it not boosting the signal 100%. Boosters only boost a weak signal so if you don't have much of a signal it won't help.

This signal booster is primarily for use in poor signal areas, or where the line of sight to the masts are partially obscured. It gave my internal aerial - which was showing shaky signal before hand - a clear boost and brought clarity to the picture. The booster is very small in size, and so can easily be hidden behind a TV or on a shelf, and the power unit is similarly discreet. You determine the position of the box by choosing the size of cabling (two required, neither come with the device).

There’s only an indoor aerial for the upstairs of my house so I bought this for my bedroom tv and it has definitely boosted the signal but I am still unable to get quite a few of the freeview channels and some of them still have a bit of a dodgy signal (but there’s enough for me) but I am thinking that perhaps this may be due to the fact the my house in smack bang in the middle of two back to back terraces of houses, and has a bad signal anyway, rather than the quality of the actual booster.

I am using mine for DAB radio. I do have a good aerial anyway, and a good strong signal from the stations for my area. But I enjoy listening to a couple of stations that are out of my normal reception area. The antenna amp boosts the weak signal from these stations and seems to filter out local interference from other electrical equipment. Does just what I wanted, and pleased. A bit of a let down that the in and out sockets are slack when you plug anything in. Other than that, quite pleased,

Had a conservatory built. The electrician installed an aerial port & "hooked it up" to my main tv aerial. However, I only got channels 1 & 2 and all the other freeview channels were fuzzy. I bought this booster on the premise that I could always return it if it didn't work... as soon as I hooked it up to the conservatory tv, all channels came through perfectly. Excellent purchase. Just remember you need the extra coaxial cable that doesn't come with the booster. Luckily, I had a spare one.

I live in a relatively 'fringe' reception area. Ideally I should have an external aerial, but prefer if I can make do with one in the loft. So I got the highest gain aerial I could find and fitted it in the loft with this booster (also in the loft) and used low loss pf100 coaxial cable down to the living room. Using a TV with signal level indicator to test, both in the loft and down in the lounge, there was a significant improvement in the signal with the booster connected.

I needed an aerial booster as the reception in my area is poor. It's easy to use, I simply connected it to my external aerial cable and ran an extension from it to the back of my television. My tv picture / reception is now very good. Prior to using it, we used to loose the reception in bad weather. You have to plug it into the mains as it has to have power in order to boost the signal. My only gripe is that it could be cheaper at around £5.

If your problem is with multi-TVs working off a single antenna, where one TV is not getting its fair share of the signal, this could do the trick. Did so for me. Two TVs fine but the third's access to Freeview was very poor. Hooked up this little gadget between the antenna socket and the troublesome TV. Now drawing down a clear signal for all Freeview channels, with no dimished reception on the other two TVs.

Neat little device which has boosted the signal to one of our televisions. The TV was suffering from picture "freeze" which I understand is either due to weak signal or interference from 4G telephone signals. This amplifer has provided a quick fix that has solved the problems and the TV suffers no problem at all. Note that it requires an additional aerial cable which unfortunately is not supplied.

Has done exactly as it said it would, have gone from having a poor signal with frequent drop outs and pixelating of the screen to near perfect picture. The reviews from people having issues must be because they haven't returned their TV after installing the booster.I would say to always do a retune of the TV if you have added anything or removed anything likely to interfere with the signal.

Easy to install and it did improve my signal somewhat. I have terrible reception therefore it was never going to completely solve the problem. I opted for this one because it has 4g filter as well which I think is important considering where I'm based in the city. Remember to buy extra aerial cables though because this doesn't come with any. Plus you also need a socket to plug the mains into!

Aerial cables have one female and one male plug so you would imagine that a device that is designed to fit in-line in an aerial cable run would follow this convention. No. I had to purchase a male to male cable to use it. Daft. The device is small and certainly provides an adequate boost helping with Freeview HD channels with all channels having 100% signal strength and 100% signal quality.

Despite reading previous reviews on this item which were negative I went ahead and bought this figuring for the price I couldn't go far wrong. I'm a complete electronic numpty but found this so easy to put together I couldn't believe it. Tried it out and somewhat surprised because of bad reviews this booster worked perfectly and I am one happy bunny. Thank you to the God of electronics.
