I bought this ariel because my previous one did not pick up all channels with my new Freeview box. This one has a range of 8 miles apparently and I live within 3 mile of my nearest transmitter. As with all indoor ariels, it requires good positioning but once that's found, apart from extremely windy/rainy weather, I now have a perfect picture and all HD channels too. Looks elegant and I have mine positioned in the corner of my room but height is required for a good signal. Would highly recommend!

Initially disappointed with unit as wouldnt pick up channels on my new bedroom tv, was only when I tried this unit on my daughters bedroom tv I realised it was actually a fantastic bit of kit, 108 channels it found on her tv (previous aerial picked up less than half of that) a tried a further 3 aerials on my tv to all bring the same conclusion that freeview in my bedroom is rubbish ...so I bought a kindle fire stick instead. Daughter is delighted with her new aerial and she recommends it highly!

I had a problem with my satellite while on holiday, and sceptically purchased this product to get my TV up and running in my caravan. What a relief to find that it not only just worked, but it worked fantastically. Every channel was Cristal clear with good sound. Easy to use and set up. What a life saver. Will be with me for my next excursion in the caravan. Would recommend to anyone. Only problem for caravanning is that it does need a 240v socket outlet, maybe the manufacturers will do a 12v.

Having purchased 2, both suffer from 'loose' connections out the rear of the unit. They do work but signal can suddenly be lost - jiggle it's power lead and signal wire and back it comes. Have used a twist tie to tie both wires together in a good position and so far have stayed on. These 'loose' connections do not, in my opinion, render unit unsafe, just made them annoying. In lounge, 13 channels found. Put up in loft (bungalow) 200+ found. They can work well but a bit of faffing to get there.

I paid around £18, customer service was quick was in & out the shop within 5mins (Walsall) & everyone was really lovely & really helpful.I fully recommend this aerial, I chose the amplified one as I didn’t know what getting signal would be like in the room I was setting up, however I got clear channels straightaway, no matter where I move it around. Set up is easy, it is literally 2 cables- one to the mains & one to the aerial port on the tv. It looks great, it’s small & sleek. Recommended!!

I was all set to return this as soon as I bought it. But this thing actually works! Admittedly it's not perfect. Some channels don't work or are quite jumpy. But I am a fair distance from the nearest transmitter in SK5 and surrounded by buildings and my own technology. The higher I perch it on the windowsill (currently on a stack of DVDs) the better the signal. Considering what I was expecting I am more than happy for 20 quid and it keeps me entertained when I need time out from my housemates.

I have very bad reception in my house and due to restrictions with the building I wasn't allowed to put an aerial on the roof. I had tried other cheaper indoor aerials but these all had problems with digital signals. I was one step away from getting cable installed, just so I could ensure my signal wasn't going to drop but decided to try this. Immediately the signal issues were resolved.I would recommend this to anyone, don't bother with any cheaper aerials, you'll just waste your money.

Simplicity itself to use. Bought, carried home, plugged in to TV and power plug, TV to scan programmes, 120 digital channels pulled in within minutes.Obviously for permanent fixing move aerial around for optimum position.Certainly beats the old days of UHF TV standing in the loft holding a huge aerial, balancing on a joist and shouting to the audience below “How’s that now? Can you see anything? Is it fuzzy?”Then hearing the shouts from below “YES! GREAT! Nooooo you must have moved!”

Don't compare this against a professionally installed external aerial, it is not a valid comparison. I found this very easy to install, just take it out of the package, connect it up and then turn it to get the best signal. I found the stations that had the most problems were those outside the recommended range, or those where the signal had to 'go through' hills! For channels within the recommended range it was fine. If I had any critism it would be that a longer aerial lead would be nice

Before purchasing we read the reviews. My husband was convinced it was NOT going to work as you think about the old style aerials where you held them up in the air just to get a fuzzy picture, only to move and it was gone again. He tuned in the TV to pick up the Free View channels which only took a few minutes and hey presto we had 40 channels. My husband and I were surprised at how clear the picture was. Also it's nice, slimline and also sits neatly next to the TV. Not disappointed!

I bought this because we live were to reception is diabolical! I really didn't think it would work to be honest ! We've lived here 4 years and up until a month ago haven't been able to watch Tv anywhere other than the living room,I bought a second one for my daughters room and now it's like a proper family home where no one speaks to each other ( except to shhhhh them because favourite program is on haha) But yes and outstanding shiny little box ( way too nice to call an Ariel)

Not having an aerial feed in the bedroom I was keen to find an alternative to running extension leads around the skirting boards so I decided to give this a try.Having had bad experiences in the past with indoor aerials I was not expecting too much but I was very surprised at just how good this product is. I can receive all of the free to air channels that my t.v set in the lounge can and because the bedroom set is more up to date I even get all the free to air digital channels.

I bought this as a temporary measure after moving in to a new house with no TV aerial and are waiting for Sky to be fitted, etc. It's so easy to set up, literally just plug and play, with the only hassle being finding the "sweet spot" of where to sit it (I had to pop mine by the window).I'm not able to get as many of the Freeview channels as I had hoped but it at least covers the basics like BBC and ITV so I can catch the news, etc. No Top Gear re-runs on Dave for me though....

I purchased this product for my father. He has been really ill lately and the tv is the only thing that he has to keep him entertained whilst family and friends are not there. We moved his room around and unfortunately his old aerial only allowed him to watch 2 channels. I purchased this product in the hope this would rectify the issue and it did. Thank you, not just for a fully working product but for enabling my dad to have all the channels he needs whilst we are not there :)

Most TVs around my home are plumbed in to my cable box. However, an upstairs one was not & the rooftop aerial stopped working. Checked Argos for an alternative. This unit is small and quite easy to deploy. Works really well with all freeview channels available. Only minor observation is that a USB to DC jack lead could have been included in the package. Many, more modern, TVs have USB outlets and the inclusion of this cable would save the need for another 13A mains socket..
