OK, if you read down all the reviews there are many complainers, I was one of them at first. But, I was doing what I expect all the complainers where doing...Fitting up the Digital Aerial and then expecting it to just work!Sorry, its not as easy as an old analogue aerial plug it in and it works. You need to get your Digital TV to SCAN the spectrum of radio frequencies - from which it will find all the available channels. So step 1Plug it in, and ensure the power socket is also plugged inStep 2Read your TV instructions, find out HOW to SCAN for TV channels.Pull your hair out trying to do this using the multi functioning TV remote!!! ArrggggghMake a cuppa tea, sit down, read the instructions again, find that you did it wrong and you forgot to SAVE the channel search!!!Do it againIt will now probably work!Step 3Enjoy watching your Digital TVOK sorry about this "telling you to suck eggs" Review, but I was seriously considering that this aerial DID NOT WORK, because I had done the setup wrong and did not SAVE the channels!!!So ensure that you have done the SETUP CORRECTYes this is a simple aerial, Just Plug it inBUT YOUR TV IS WHAT HAS TO DO THE WORKGive it another go, and it works fantastic - think we had 75 channels in a LOW quality reception area for digital

I treated myself to a flash flatscreen telly last year to replace my 12-year-old. Sorry, my 12-year-old CRT. It looked fab. But when I ran it through my PVR, the aerial signal was too split to give a half-way decent picture on most channels. (Damn you for not explaining this, John Lewis. And damn your customer service team for telling me the PVR was broken and to bring it in and when I brought it in to bring it home again and to call the manufacturer when I'm sitting in front of the machine even though their helplines are only open 9 to 5 when I'm at work.)Where was I? Oh yeah. A little research proved I'd need one of these puppies. Ordered it,it arrived early and in no time I'd plugged it into the power socket and the PVR and it was working beautifully. And that's it. It's weeny and I've finally got my channels back.Wish I'd known about this before Christmas. (John Lewis, I know where you live.)Caveat: I'd had a good signal all those years and I need to get another adaptor to fit four plugs in the same double socket now.

Having moved into a rental where we are not allowed to put a TV socket in the kitchen we went out and purchased a very expensive indoor aerial from a well known electrical store - it only picked up a few digital channels and god-forbid if anyone moved in the room as it would lose the signal. Re-tuning was a regular event but even so we could only get the more obscure BBC channels and some random shopping channels. We bought this bad boy fully expecting to waste some more cash but OMG!!! this brings in all the channels with a very decent picture. What's more we can move around the kitchen freely without being punished by the aerial - finally we have our TV back and we are once again masters in our own kitchen. For us at least, this aerial has been absolutely brilliant!! We actually prefer it to our dog and our dog is lush.Footnote - we have secured it higher up in the room for the best reception : )Buy it and lick back and relax in front of your TV

This is antenna is a great solution for instances where there is no antenna connection as in a bedroom, home office, etc. I 'upgraded' my main TV and moved the 'old' one into my home office so I could monitor the news, CNN, etc., while working. I had wanted to do this for awhile, but with no antenna connection available it was not a straight forward task. I tried a couple of 'rabbit ears' antennas, but the quality of the signal wasn't wonderful and the telescoping antenna elements were cumbersome and always 'in your face'. With this antenna it was a quick 5 minute fix. I connected it to the TV and tuned in 80-90 stations with no problems at all.The antenna itself sits on a shelf by the TV and is practically invisible as it blends in with the books and other items on the shelves. I'm really pleased with it and would highly recommend it to anyone with a similar need.

I struggled a bit on which ariel to get as I think where you live is really important to understand style and strength of ariel you need to get. Not seeing a review quoting a location near me I plumped for this one because its in one piece and is for the childrens room so no antenna's to stick in peoples eyes or glass to be broken!I live in south east london, admittedly about 5- 10 miles from the Crystal Palace transmitter, but this works perfectly for freeview and I have had problems in the past with other indoor ariels not pickig up. I can't comment on freeview HD as a I don't have it but judging by the speed the stations were picked up,the fact that every freeview channel and radio staions where picked up if you live in south east london this is the one for you.

I had a television that was sitting idle after the digital switchover. Faced with the possibility of having to buy a new set, I decided to buy a new aerial and set top box as a cheaper option. I purchased the aerial first and plugged it into the television. It immediately began downloading channels because what I didn't realise was that the television had built in freeview! So for the price of an aerial I now have a functional television again. The aerial itself is very sleek and sits well behind the television, so much so you wouldn't know it was there. The fact that it is amplified has proved to be the answer to my problems.I am actually thinking of replacing an existing aerial with another one of this type and I would recommend it as a purchase.

My last Ariel suddenly stopped working for an unknown reason, so i wanted to buy a replacement. But i was unsure which one to buy, as many of them had bad reviews which mirrored something like this..."Ariel didn't work, very disappointing" If you know how to install your channels correctly, then there really shouldn't be a problem with this ariel.I live in buckinghamshire, we have standard television signal and i picked up every single channel i had beforehand. I'm using a samsung hdtv and it worked just fine.So for those looking for a replacement, this is your best bet, small, stylish and powerful.NOTE: I've noticed it doesn't say it comes with a plug, well it dose, average length although some people may need an extension.

I did a lot of research before deciding on which antenna to chose - we had purchased my daughter a 32 inch tv for her birthday and I didn't want to have to start drilling the wall etc. to install a connection from the main aerial into her bedroom.Well this product works a treat, and there is hardly ever any picture break-up, even in bad weather. Simply moving the device a couple of inches immediately resolves any problems, which I must stress are few and far between. The product is far smaller and more compact than I had imagined, it looks good, and delivery from the supplier was very prompt. If you're after an indoor antenna, I would highly recommend this one.

I've had a few one for all products over the years and this one has been as expected. It's a little heavier than some of the internal aerials I've used before but that's actually a good thing. The reason I bought it was because the aerial feel in our so called "premium" apartment is anything but premium. This wee gizmo works very well and gives a lovely reception here in London without the annoying signal drop when you stand in certain parts of the room.To me it in no way replaces a full aerial but standard def pictures are cracking and there is a little bit of a struggle with the freeview HD signals hence the 4 stars. On the whole I'd recommend it.

I live in an apartment with no aerial connection, so I have to have an indoor one, this is my third try and, low and behold, IT WORKS..... don't bother with the bunny ear ones (the ones with the extending metal things) useless, I had one like that for about 2 years thinking that was the best I could do, it lost signal all of the time, I bought this one out of sheer desperation thinking, it may work.Since I programed it into the TV it hasn't lost signal once, I have more channels now than ever, and it's stable. The unit is less ugly too, small, sleek...I give it 5 out of 5.Excellent!!!

We don't have a roof aerial in our new home as it is cabled...so I needed a way of installing a TV in my daughters' room without having the expense of multiroom. I saw this and thought that for the price it was worth a go. I was amazed at how small and unobtrusive it is...all you do is plug it in and retune the TV or digibox. Within five mins the job was done and it picks up every channel I remember from my old house! I was sceptical as we have woods out the back of our home, but would recommend this to anyone!

I was pleased and happily surprised by the performance of my aerial as I have previously experienced disappointing results with indoor aerials. The aerial is well made, compact and stylish and its general quality is good. Digital TV reception was good due to the built in 38dB amplifier. Personally I found the best reception with the aerial orientated vertically. Overall a good product which performs well and good value for money.

Really pleased with small size and design when this arrived-was concerned whether it was working as no light to indicate there is any power. Contacted company who responded within 24 hours and advised that was design and to try locating near a window. Thinking I had wasted my money tried again this time using ladders to place at top of window and got fantastic reception of loads of channels! Really pleased and would recommend!

This product can be described in so many adjectives.. The design is spectacular; its light weight! I was shocked at first when I got the pack, so small.. but that's the idea! User friendly, easy to plug in and the signal quality for me is awesome. It blends in well with the TV & stand (and anywhere else around the living room) with the black theme. Good thinking.. Two thumbs up!!!
