We live in an 18th century with very thick stone walls (v bad for wifi) and the old analogue roof aerial has given up the ghost. Fitting a new one with replacment cabling = large and messy job, so decided to try this first. Very obvious and easy to assemble - didn't look at the instructions at all. In line booster is small and unobtrusive. You'll need a male/female coax cable and access to a 13 amp socket to complete the job. Tried a few different positions to find the best reception and it turned out that putting it behind a large picture gave the best results, so can't see it - very discrete. Clear-out and rescan and we have 120+ channels and, importantly, the HD channels come in pefectly.Obs, you need to take account of the technical spec for the product around distance from transmitter and be realistic - we are about five miles from Winter Hill. Providing that you fufill the tech criteria I would recommend this product :-)

I don't usually bother writing reviews but after trawling through a number of sites looking for an indoor aerial, I realised it was pretty hit and miss, whichever product you purchase so thought I would add my location and experience with the product.I live in the Acton Central area of London that supposedly has extremely weak signal so wouldn't be recommended on the One For All website as using this product. However, when I plugged in the aerial and scanned the channels, I picked up all the Freeview channels. About 80 I think. Obviously some are skysports etc and unavailable, but the signal is there nonetheless. The aerial is also quite compact and easily rests on our window sill where it doesn'tlook great but works absolutely fine and I don't have to drill a hole into the wall of my rented property. So as I really wasn't expecting success, I would recommend this product, however, for some I guess it still might not work.

My TV aid mounted on the middle of an internal wall, so for me it was important to have an indoor Ariel which I could hide behind the Tv And not have any wires going all over the walls... I plugged it in, slipped it behind the flat screen TV and sat it on the bracket itself. It is the thickness of a few sheets of A4 paper and comes with a long cable which is easily tucked up and hidden or gives the option to run it to anywhere in a 2m radius. It also has a signal booster on it. Personally I have it on all the time but I've never struggled to get signal. My local antenna is within a mile so signal hasn't been an issue, if you live in an area with bad signal, only an external area will help. All in all this is a great Ariel if you want TV reception and don't want wires all over your wall, but aware of signal strength in your area before you buy...

Was looking to wall mount a TV and this meant no cables or aerials were on the wall to be used. Looking online at the One For all website, this was suitable for the area. Delivery arrived promptly and no damage to the packaging.Upon opening, you have to screw the folded panels onto the circular section to ensure it picks up the signals. Was dubious over the quality of the cable supplied but since it was too long, this is wrapped around the mounts so may have aid the signal pickup. The wall socket was changed to a double since this requires its own power adapter to function. On use there has been no issue in the Freeview Signal and the ability to pick up all TV and Radio Channels. The suppliedhook was used and so far has not fallen off after a year or so.

This antenna/aerial is a very good design and does exactly what it should.I needed an aerial when I bought a new digital TV for the bedroom, and after considering expensive 'video senders' and other unsightly aerials that take up a lot of room, I found this one - which has a space-age look - to be very effective. I had to try it in a few positions and then found the right place for it and have had excellent reception ever since, with no pixellating or breaks. It tucks away in small places, as it is very flat.I looked in Argos and on other sites and have found it on sale for £29.99, so this is a bargain. I did worry that at the low price, it may not be very good, but it is,and I'm 100% pleased with it.Excellent value, design and effectiveness.

We recently purchased a new 19" flat screen digital TV for our bedroom. There is no arial point in the room and I'm too stingy to pay an extra £10 a month for a second Sky box for the bedroom, and thought wiring a Sky distribution kit in was to much of a faff.Having read the reviews of this little antenna, thought it was just what we needed. It was extremely easy to put together, plugged it in, located the antenna on the windowsill behind the curtain and hey presto, works like a dream. Picks up all the digital channels and radio. .It is small and slimline, and therefore, is not obtrusive or ugly. For us there are no bad points, but some people may want more cable if they need to locate the antenna further from their TV.

I was amazed how thin this aerial was when I opened the box (and it is fairly stylish as well).. This makes it light and it is easy to attach to a wall with the supplied "picture hanging kit" attachement. The signal is usually excellent (although it does lose it temporarily for approximately 3-4 seconds after you've been watching TV for a few minutes - which is a little annoying - especially if you're watching football and there is a chance of a goal being scored!) and that is why I have given only 4 stars. I can now watch HD quality pictures as well. My previous method of watching TV was a satellite box but that kept losing sound when it was raining or icy. Although you have to plug this device in,it draws minimal power.

I was very sceptical about whether an indoor aerial would be suitable to pick up a good number of digital channels as my existing indoor aerial was useless. I took a lot of time reading the reviews on the various indoor aerials available at Argos and came to the conclusion that this was the most likely one to work satisfactorily. And Bingo! It's perfect. I get all the television and radio channels with absolutely no problem. It is simple to set up via the digi-box, then through to the television. It is neat, hangs on a hook on a wall nearby and I get perfect pictures! Highly recommended - although I appreciate it may not work for everyone (I live in the Leeds area).

Great results. Used this ~20 miles from transmitter, inside a living room with a stone wall between the signal and the receiver. It's *just* powerful enough, gets almost all channels (and definitely all major ones).the flat design is a major win over a traditional aerial, as you can pretty much have it in full view without it looking messy. Stick a plant or something in front and you'll never know it's there.Note: if you want to use the included amp (and you probably will) then you need an extra cable to go with this: the included cable will get you from the amp to your TV, but you'll probably want a longer one to go from the aerial to the amp.

I rarely write reviews, but this aerial is amazing, so much better than the one it replaced I've just bought another one to use in another room. I live in a row of houses about 3 miles from the Crystal Palace transmitter and the signal probably has to pass through 7 houses to get to mine, and yet we were immediately able to get the Freeview HD Channels (101 to 107), with no breakup at all. At £16.97 I'm annoyed I didn't buy this ages ago!To those people querying that you need another cable, you don't. You simply put the lfilter (the little box that you plug the power supply into), into the aerial in of your TV/Freeview box, and off you go. :-)

As the reception for TV is so bad here, I purchased this product, not knowing if it was any good and expecting less. I have experimented with this aeriel: the reception straight out of the box was good, but strangely directional. By a process of elimination, I have chanced upon a good method for reception. Merely, include the 4 metre extension cable, that you find in the pack, and all problems of reception, directionality etc. are solved. So long as the aeriel is, at least, six feet from the set- preferably ten (3 metres)- then reception is ideal, even in a poor site like this (a reinforced concrete shed).

Received mine and was initially skeptical about receiving any sort of signal for my 40" samsung HD tv with built in Digital tv. Up until now I had only used the tv for streaming sky go from the xbox (wifi connection) and watching dvd's and playing games etc. Unpacked it and fitted it to the tv and I now have uninterrupted, top quality signal to all freeview channels including the free HD one such as the BBC. A very good buy, could only find it for £29 in tesco which is a rip off comparatively, now wishing I had made the purchase earlier to get the most from my tv!

I had a built-in wall antenna, but every now and then it went out. I spent an age looking for something that would work and I tried it due to the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The setup is easy and straightforward. When you find a position that seems to work I suggest you tune your TV again just to be on the safe side. Also, go through as many of the channels as you can to make sure you have them all. The bonus is it happens to look good and it is smaller than you'd imagine. I didn't have to worry about some clunky piece of equipment drawing eyes to it.

Bought this to replace the signal from a loft-installed analogue Ariel. The plastic screws supplied are too soft and the drive slots are easily stripped. Also had to go out and buy a coaxial connector, to plug in the two male ending plugs on the ariel socket and the TV aerial lead. I also thought this could be powered by the usb slot to the aerial power unit. Instead, you have to have a 13amp socket nearby to plug in the transformer plug supplied with the aerial. The overall picture improvement is slightly better with sharper detail, but not strikingly so.

Very pleased that this aerial picked up nearly all channels on freeview. The TV picture is perfect, signal strong. It simply has to be plugged in to socket and attached by hook provided to a wall or high-up shelf.Had we not discovered this aerial through a consumer recommendation magazine, we would have had to pay out for an aerial installer at great expense. We live in the sticks and the nearest transmitter is about 24 miles away, so are delighted this works and so are our guests, who now have a working HD TV in their bedroom.
