My house is 8 miles from the local transmitter, This aerial is "rated" for up to 15 miles.I have been using a flat a4 sized aerial on the inside of my window,connected through a mains powered amplifier, to a USB DVB-T stick in my laptop. Reception was ok-ish, but often I had to reposition to get certain channels or improve the reception i had.I recently bought a new DVB-T stick (Hauppage) and was having some reception problems, missing channels, several detected but "no signal" messages. The technical support agent helped a lot with their software updates, then also recommended a "one for all" powered antenna, and i chose this one.I deleted the channels from my stick-software and then with this antenna connected I rescanned for channels.

Located in a poor reception Area I find this the BEST indoor Ariel . I have no idea how far away the main Transmitter Mast is however this is a fantastic indoor solution ., powerful enough to pick up HD Freeview signals with no problems . There is a bit of " Trial and error " to find the optimum position but it is well worth 30 minutes of trying half a dozen positions to get such BRILLIANT reception .I could not imagine anything other than the power adapter failing so opted for the Amazon Warehouse deal on a VERY. GOOD price with a very rapid delivery . This Ariel was good as new with everything complete , working perfectly within an hour of being delivered .?

I was shocked to say the least when i bought this. It was a trial for a room in the middle of the house and there was no way i thought it would work. I can honestly say, it does what it says on the box. I have 50 + channels and honestly there are a few that are scrambled but a slight movement of the aerial and the tv gets the picture.This has probably saved me alot of hassle and money trailing cables.Please read the box though. I know i am 9 miles from out transmitter so the one i bought was for a location within 15 miles.

I live in a poor DAB reception area. Having sunk a few quid into my hifi rig last year, it always bugged me that my network receiver (a Pioneer HM86D) has a built in DAB receiver but I wasn't getting use of it. After trying a few supposed high gain (& expensive) antenna, I pleased to report this little guy works spectacularly well providing an astonishing 90%+ signal almost every time (over 60% in the DAB world will give crystal clear audio). Its actually quite small and sits its on top of my speaker. Glad I bought.

Working well even though my nearest mast is further away than the ideal range of 15 miles that the aerial should reach. Have loads of freeview channels with fairly decent reception... flickers a bit when walking past the aerial or if a large vehicle passes outside but that’s ok. Bare in mind that this needs to be plugged into an electrical socket, if you intend to use an extension coaxial like I thought I’d have to, you’ll need an extension lead aswell if there’s a lack of sockets in your room

It's incredible how this indoor Aerial performs. I simply removed it from the box and connected it up and places it down and that was it. I now have all TV channels which are crystal clear, including all HD channels. I am so happy I saved so much money compared to having an TV engineer fitting an external Aerial, which would have to be on my roof as I am in a four in a block flat which has a shared flat roof, hens no attic. Thank you Argos for a fast and pleasant service.

I bought this aerial from argos to get freeview tv on my monitor. It picks up all the normal channels and some freeview like dave. I would recommend this product but as its small sometimes it struggles to pick up the signal from limavady even though it has the sufficient range. That is partly because I am in a black spot for freeview but i suggest you check for the avaliability of whatever channels you desire before buying this product.

Seen so many mixed reviews of so many different TV Antennas that decided enough messing and just get it, at least fairly easy to return to Argos. Mainly bought for holiday but quick test at home and quite impressed with stations it got, some of them didn't work but to be fair I didn't tweak aerial's position etc so maybe would get those too with a bit more effort.Like the way it stands and easy to change angles

Bought for a smart tv located in my bedroom. I've tried cheaper aerials before and they dont work in my home but this plug in aerial works perfectly. I would recommend giving it a go. Before choosing an aerial you do need to know how far you are from the nearest TV Mast so that you can select one that covers the distance. This can easily be checked online by searching - how far is my nearest tv transmitter.

Bought this to replace an existing power aerial as this design is much smaller. Easy to connect. Make sure you use the correct strength for distance to your local tv transmitter. Works fine on tv in a room in middle of house and I'm just over the limit in distance to the transmitter. Only downside is power usage expressed in amps and I've yet to worj out how to calculate that in watts yet !

Improvement from my old booster aerial is like night and day. Had been struggling with a One for All flat aerial/booster. I live in a very large stone house with 2-3ft thick granite walls that block most of the signal from the transmitter. The previous aerial was hopeless in these conditions This new one provides a crystal clear picture on every channel. Delighted.

I have quite a few problems with TV reception in my area and - over the years - have tried a variety of cheap aerials. This time round, I decided to spend money and so did a lot of research on which aerial to buy,I've been exceptionally happy with my purchase. It's sorted out the vast majority of my reception problems and has been worth every penny.

Picture on my small tv had recently been breaking up on a regular basis. The indoor aerial I was using was for up to 9 miles from our transmitter, which is about 10 miles away. I thought I'd take a punt on this model which does up to 15 miles. Glad I did! More channels and a nice clear crisp picture. Satisfied customer.

Have seen marked difference to my old one. Seems to block out interference and with it being able to pick up signal up to 15 miles from transmitter .As I live more than 3 miles from it, an aeriel that does any less distance would be a waste of money. This never occurred to me until I researched buying new aerial.

The outdoor aerial broke so I thought I'd chance our arm with one of these. Pleasantly surprised that it works like a charm. We have line of site on our nearest transmitter which I guess makes a big difference but it still works fine tucked away in a corner surrounded by brick walls. Saves a trip onto the roof!
