I got this type of Arial with my 12inch portable TV I have used one like it before in most cases you will be able to get at least some channels you may even get all it depends how near you are to transmitter ect what it does need to work is to be placed on metal base so it can use as a ground this helps it get more signal strength hence its magnetic baseso yes it works but don't expect it to be as good as more expensive bigger one its plus is its size and that in most cases you will be able to watch at least some digital channels

Bought it for spare bedroom TV that did not have aerial. I too was a bit sceptical, however this little gadget is brilliant. Attached the magnet to the TV shelf, tuned it in and that was it! Has picked up all the channels that we have on our main tv and the picture is sharp and clear. We have just bought another one for our holiday home.

I bought this for the TV in my spare room as we dont have an aerial connection in there. The aerial is really small and discrete so it's easily hidden behind the TV. Picture quality is excellent and I can't notice any difference to our main aerial. Recommended purchase.

I don't usually write reviews, only read them. However this had to be an exception, because of how good this product is. Spent £20 on an aerial which didn't even work in my flat. This works perfectly and it's cheap! Also picks up HD channels. Highly recommended.

After 5 years and over £1000 on aerial guys coming to r bedroom tv not picking up an signal I laughed when I opened this parcel but unbelievable plugged it in and within minutes every signal Chanel picked straight up I honestly carnt believe it

Brilliant little aerial and great value for money. We can pretty much get a signal anywhere ( except the middle of Snowdonia where it’s impossible to get anything to work)

The HD TV Freeview Aerial is surprisingly good for its size and I am pleased with it as the large aerial I had kept getting knocked off the top of the TV.

excellent reception, placed in the kitchen window, have the advantage that the transmitter is just a couple of miles away

Great little aerial..easy to use and good quality...it is used in a shopping centre and reception is excellent..
