I haven’t used all the functions of this air fryer yet, but the items I have cooked in it have cooked very fast with very little clean up needed. As a vegan I wasn’t sure I would get much use from this appliance, but almost everything I used to cook in my main oven, can be cooked in the air fryer in less time and with no pre heating necessary. Vegan burgers, sausage rolls, hash browns, croissants and even a sponge pudding was successfully cooked in the Ninja. Oh yes, I have obviously cooked some chunky chips in it, in fact that was the first thing I tried. The only downside is working out how long to cook the food for as the Ninja is much quicker than my conventional fan oven.Normally I reduce the temperature by 20 degrees and take around 10 minutes off the time stated on the packet. Occasionally I have over cooked food, so I know to reduce the time a bit more next time. It’s easy enough to pop the food back in for a few minutes if they need a bit more cooking and you can check the progress simply by pulling out the pan. The Ninja automatically stops when the pan is pulled out and resumes cooking when placed back.Clean up is very easy. Most of the time a quick wipe out with some kitchen roll is enough and for a more thorough clean a bit of hot soapy water and a quick brush is all that’s necessary. This Ninja Air Fryer has taken up the space previously occupied by my bread maker as it gets used several times a week. My main oven only gets turned on if I need to cook something larger than the pan, such as a pizza, but for most things I use the Ninja. It’s quicker, economical, easier to clean and convenient. We're a family of asthmatics so we don't fry things often at home. This is a great alternative as there is no oil needed. The food does not turn out greasy and there is no oil burning smell. This is a very simple product to use. There are only a few buttons, all of these are clearly named so you know what their functions are. There is a great feature which pauses the time when you pull the basket out and automatically continues as soon as it's put back in. There is no need to mess about with the temperature or time again. The temperature cannot be adjusted if you use the max crisper option. It has a large basket size, great for a big family.I added 1Kg of fresh cut chips to the pan and it only used up a third of the space and it took 25 minutes to cook them, with frozen chips the same amount took 15 minutes to cook. They tasted great exactly like oven cooked chips. There is tray/ crisper plate at the bottom that oil drips through (if you use any) that keeps the food nice and crispy. The crisper plate is easily removable,it has a small handle on it that you pull and it lifts right out. It's also ceramic plated which makes it easy to wash too. This is a very versatile product as you can make multiple things in it. We have also made onion rings, samosas, cheese pasties, cheese toasties to name a few things, all have turned out great. You can remove the crisper plate from the basket when making things like cakes. Overall a fantastic easy to use product. Even our teenagers are using it to make themselves something to eat! The biggest con to this product is that my family is eating chips at all hour! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I’ve already had a pressure cooker (Instant Pot), which has been very useful for a long while. I’ve been looking into air fryers when I came across Ninja cookers and decided to buy one instead of getting just an air fryer. I purchased the Ninja Foodi MAX because it also has a dehydrating function, which I thought I could use to make heathy treats for my dogs (I am still to try it). I’ve been very pleased with the gadget when it arrived, but shortly discovered that the sauté function had a fault. I was getting a message to open the vent on the lead, whether the lead was off or on (with open vent). I contacted the customer service and was advised to return the cooker for an exchange.I was a little bit disappointed because it looked like I would not be able to use the cooker for Christmas food preparation. I had to wait until the weekend to be able to drop off the item due to work commitments, so the cooker was only delivered to Sharkninja on Monday the 23rd December. I could not believe when the next day I received a message that a replacement Ninja Foodi MAX was on the way and due to arrive on the 24th December. I am not sure how it was possible to arrange for the next day replacement during such a busy time of the year, but I am most grateful to the Customer Service to make it happen. We’ve done all our Christmas cooking with the Ninja Foodi. I give the product and the Customer Service five stars, despite the initial fault with the devise, witch I assume is a one off.

We have had this for about a month now and I really love this air fryer...I haven't been very adventurous with it yet but so far the things I have cooked in it for the kids for a quick and simple tea after school, it's been great! Cooking time is shorter... I don't need to put the oven on for a few fish fingers for eg, so it saves on energy....The kids like there chicken nuggets and it literally takes about 9 minutes and they taste so much better than cooked in the oven. I have also done sausages...which do go quite dark in colour but taste really good! Making homemade chips is so much easier!! I used to par boil my wedges/chips then cook them in the oven..but with the air fryer I just chop them and put them straight in with minimal fuss! My most favourite so far is making Sunday dinner.. I popped my potatoes in to make roasties... It frees up space in my small oven for other things so it was fantastic! They needed some oil in but tasted less fatty than roasting in the oven.I would definitely recommend this air fryer if you like making things quick and easy..I think I would benefit from buying the different accessories to make more adventurous meals! After enquiring with customer service about when the Ninja Foodi Max would be back in stock, I received an email when it was in stock so I purchased it straight away. I received it, with very good tracking, 3-4 days later, even during lockdown! I think we have used it for cooking every day since. We were really worried that it was just going to be another gadget that would be forgotten about in the kitchen cupboard but so far we are making point of using it.It comes with a cook book and two guides. I would recommend reading these as using the Foodi definitely has its own way of doing things with time and temperature. We are definitely getting the hang of it but still use these to refer to.Lots of the parts are dishwasher proof which makes it all easier to clean, but they are pretty easy to clean anyway. Only a little concerned with how to clean the grill lid more thoroughly, as I am finding just wiping it to clean doesn't feel clean enough. We are really excited about all the other things we will now be able to cook. Very happy with chips and roasting chicken using the pressure cook then Tender Crisp.Very very happy and couldn't recommend it enough!

A bit on the large size for storage inside cupboard etc. But as I use it most days I'm happy to keave it out on the worktop. Large size basket means you can almost cook a whole meal and is certianly large enuf for family. It comes with instructions that are clear but only has a few very simple recipes. Very easy to clean the inside basket in soapy water alongside other washing up. The big plus is no smells or stream or fat outside the unit. So cook fish without any stinks Fry chips without splateering oil over cooker etc. No real need to use extractor fan with this just be aware to have space all around it as the air exhaust can get hotThere are very few decent air fryer recipe books out at this time. One can of course use interweb. Instrcutions do give times etc for most items so it pretty simple to use and prepare most dishes witha bit of juggling with times. I find that reducing recipe times by approx 20% did the job but this will depend on how big or much you add in the basaket Overall I dont think we could do without Its a great time saver

Purchased in the Black Friday sales with £50.00 off - excellent offer.I already owned the smaller OP300UK and have used it on a daily basis since purchasing at the beginning of this year (2019).It’s an incredible machine and does exactly what the advertising says; pressure cooks, steams, sautés, air fries, grills, roasts/bakes, slow cooks, however I had wanted the larger machine which also dehydrates and has a yoghurt making programme, but at the time it wasn’t available in the UK.I hardly ever use my main oven, instead roasting, pressure cooking amongst other things - suggest you make a chicken soup in the pressure cooker and then at the end of cooking remove the chicken, pat the skin dry with kitchen roll, then spray/rub with oil and seasoning and, using the crisping lid, air fry at 200oC for 20 minutes. You’ll end up with the most moist chicken with crispy skin - absolutely beautiful.I cannot sing the praises of this appliance loud enough; it’s an absolutely fantastic invention and would definitely make my Desert Island list!

Amazing! I love it !I have never owned one of these before. In fact I wasn't even really sure I knew they existed. I have heard the odd conversation about air fryers but paid no interest. Well now I have one my oven has become redundant int he last week! So far I have made home made chips - crunchy and non stick - unlike my oven baking trays - and in half the time - with half the amount of oil! I have made seasoned roasted veggies and last night American spiced coated crispy cauliflower.I haven't yet fathomed out the other settings of capabilities but I am excited to see what else this incredible piece of kit can do. It looks stylish on my kitchen worktop and is so easy to clean - so much less mess than using the oven!We make lots of home made oven chips and wedges in our house so this is perfect for that! It makes cooking easier for me personally - working smarter not harder! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This machine was bought for me after I was looking at it for months, and previously owning a pressure cooker. This is such a versatile machine, I’ve had it for just over a week and used it every day- the air cook is brilliant, I havnt used my oven once! The only disadvantage with the machine is the confusion with cleaning the lid section on the fry part. This will get built up residue and oil on it over time, which will go on the element and places you can’t reach unless you un screw it and take it apart- which appears to be with a small torx which doesn’t come with the appliance. The stance on invalidating the warranty because of taking it apart was an issue too- which I believe has now been resolved and does not effect it.If they made it easier to clean that part it would be 5*. I definitely recommend this machine though, especially for busy people!

I received the Ninja foodi about 2 weeks ago. The appearance of the gadget is very pleasing to the eye, however it is quite cumbersome. If you have large kitchen it maybe ideal. If there was a way for the pressure cooker to be combined with the air crisper lid there would be less storage issues as you have to store that separate from the main machine. The functions are efficient the air crisper and bake function work extremely well as does the pressure cooker. Combining all these functions together can work well. I pressure cooked a whole chicken which came out succulent and moist. To cook a roast for a family is a long task as there are a lot of stages to go through. All in all the air crisper and the bake functions were my favourite. Ideal for a large kitchen though. I’ve had this appliance about a month ago and I’m amazed about the customer service especially during these times. This is suppose to replace my slightly smaller OP300UK, it’s really a must have item which does everything to a high standard whether you’re slow cooking, pressure cooking, air crisping etc. This one item has replaced several of my appliances and I’ve had fun using it, I simply can’t remember life without it. I’d go as far as saying it’s idiot proof... as it won’t let you start cooking without the pot in place etc.I truly love this item, it’s more expensive than its competitions but that’s because it does a lot more and has a better build quality. This item would also be ideal for students and forces who live away from home and haven’t got a cooker, the one item you can plug in and do it all.

I've had my Ninja just iver 2 weeks now and its very impressive. Prior to purchasing this one I'd been using an air fryer from a Well known shopping channel, which i couldn't complain about as it was half the price of the Ninja however the the max crisp feature is really good and oven chips are so crispy. The non stick base inside too is a dream compared to my other fryer which i used to have leave soaking in water after every use, this just wipes clean and ive tried toasted cheese sandwiches with melting cheese and nothing has stuck. So i think all in all the little extra spend was well worth. I definitely will nit be purchasing any other brand. As all other testimonials say, my big oven is now redundant.Thank you Ninja. Good product. Quick delivery and good customer care.

- I don't think I ever need to use my oven again this does everything you could possibly want it to do.- Super easy to use- Really enjoyed the layout of the manual, its simplified and great to follow to start the cooking experience- First cooking I did with this was Air Fry sweet potatoes. All I did was cut them up throw them in with a tiny bit of Olive Oil and they came out the best and most crispy wedges I have made. - I love that I can dehydrate and make my own dried fruit as I always buy it out. - Sleek design with great accessories so that you can cook double the portion of food and potentially batch cook.- 100% recommend to anyone who wants a cooking appliance that does everything or if you want easy cooking.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have used it a few times now. Was quite apprehensive about using it at first but just bit the bullet and had a go and was so easy. My only issue is that I have never used a pressure cooker, fryer, slow cooker etc so had no idea how to assess times needed. I think a more in-depth of times for foods or a cook book with realistic foods would have been a great asset to this purchase as currently I have to go on to a webpage called salt and pepper to find out how to use the machine in a real life situation. There also doesn’t seem to be any books related to this product on line to buy just cookbooks with recipes no one would really ever make. Also it’s not as big as you think it’s going to be.
