First of all, this piece of kit is a very useful accessory for my Nikon D5200. I no longer have to go through the process of waiting to get to my laptop to download my images, then upload them to the cloud. With this and an app on my smartphone I can rest assured that my images are on the cloud within minutes if needed.It is very small, and can be secured to the camera's strap when not in use. Note, it can be quite demanding on the camera's battery, but it is very unlikely that you would need it to be on all the time in any case.Overall, a good buy and a worthy addition to my camera bag.

I got the Nikon WU-1A wireless adapter to enable wireless operation of my Nikon D7100 with the qDSLR Dashboard app on my mobile. The adapter is durable enough for its tiny size even inside a small plastic case and if care is not taken it could get mislaid. I solved this by using the tether that came with it and attach a small carabinier which I then attach to the camera strap. The adapter is a useful item if one wants to control the camera remotely.

This wi fi unit works well but only transfers photos directly to iPads and tablets directly. You have to manually configure your I PDI to transfer photos to. Windows PC.All a bit of a pain really . Expected this unit to transfer to Windows PC as well.Unit is ok but a bit fiddly.

Excellent bit of kit if you want to quickly put your photos on to a tablet/phone to put online. Please bear in mind using the adaptor will reduce the quality of the pictures slightly so always better to take directly off the card when you need the best quality for prints etc

I suppose it may be a bit expensive for such a small piece of kit - but it works. Within a few minutes, I had set up my camera at the bottom of the garden by the bird feeders, and was triggering the shutter from my phone. It does what it's supposed to do.

Purchased it because ill be using it wirelessly from the Cascable app to shoot time-lapses etc. very happy with this purchase i recommend it. Very fast delivery and well packaged.

Coupled with the Nikon application this Wireless Mobile Adapter is useless. BUT If you use the WU-1a with another application, for example qDslrDashboard, it is a good product.

So easy to Bluetooth photos from camera to phone, though it does eat up power so best to do it at home
