After losing the interface cable that connects the camera to my computer, I looked for a replacement. The original Canon cable was too expensive, so I tried to find a substitute. The one I got works perfectly and is exactly equal in length to the original but white instead of black. Otherwise it's a good buy.

Recently bought a new Canon Powershot G16 camera. Disappointingly, even though camera is expensive, there was no usb cable included. So off to good old Amazon and found this reasonably priced one. It works just as advertised. Was delivered as stated and would purchase from this seller again.

Of course there is not much to go wrong with this kind of item I guess, but - like it says in that advert - it does what it says on the tin. It does the job I bought it for and you cannot ask for more than that can you.

Recognized by Canon software/drivers on PC, so downloaded images without a problem from Powershot SX600HS, which was not mentioned as definitely compatible.

Does what it says it connects to the usb. good service and quality product.Don't need to buy any other more expensive ones.

Does what it says on the tin-only real problem was I had to buy it. Can't believe Canon too mean to provide with the camera.

Essential if you don't want to mess around with WiFi. Should have included it in the box.

As expected for a simple cable it does exactly what it should. Why pay more?
