Having just purchased a DSC-RX100M4 I am keen to keep the camera as pristine as possible for future upgrades. I welcome the 4k video shooting ability of the camera along with other features and all packed into such a small size which I find ideal for travels. The 5minute 4k limitation is likely to be addressed in a future release of the camera so in order to keep resale value as high as possible avoiding scratches on the large viewfinder is a must. A day-1 purchase for me and the protector was on the camera less than 2 minutes after I unpacked it!The cover itself has a green film on one side (see photo) which you remove and you then position the cover flat on top of a clean screen camera having aligned the edge.

I'm very happy with this screen protector. Once it's attached to the camera you really can't tell there's a screen protector on the camera at all. I immediately forgot it was there. It even keeps the Sony logo on the camera screen - nice touch!Applying the protector to the screen is easy. You can remove and re-attach the protector several times until you get the right fit. However, you need to follow the instructions and just press down the edges of the protector onto the screen and not the middle of the screen. This way of attaching a screen protector means there are no bubbles to worry about.There are cheaper screen protectors available,

Very high quality screen protector from Sony. Absolute precision fit on my RX100 M2.Not mentioned in the ad, but this also designed for DSC- RX1, RX1R, RX10, RX100, RX100M2, RX100M3, RX100M4, HX90, HX90VFitting is much the same as a mobile phone screen protector, align the edge and peel off the backing to apply. There is an instruction sheet supplied and it contains an important detail - apply pressure to the black edges only when fitting NOT the middle. I didn't have any issues with dust specs having cleaned the camera first with a lint free cloth.The LM15 is quite rigid and offers excellent protection. It contains the Sony logo along the bottom. I'm really pleased with this item,

For someone who likes to use his gizmos without having to worry about getting them damaged, this was a must for my camera. Not only does it protect the screen from scratches but also stops my face oil smearing on it every time I use the viewfinder.It doesn't come with any screen wipes just the protector itself so I'd suggest getting some before applying, especially if you're particle-ular like me about getting things trapped where they're not wanted! It's easy to apply, as long as you're paying attention to the inner black lines and edges of the protector against the screen.It's pricey, but I expect nothing less with Sony.

Yes, £10 for a bit of plastic....but it fits perfectly, is cut to shape to suit the light sensor and works fine. I bought this for a used camera I had purchased, which had a few scratches on the back screen. I put this on to protect against any more. After a day or two I suddenly wondered...and yes, there was already one of these on the glass screen but I couldn't see it! So it just goes to show, once on and you wouldn't know it was there! 4 stars because it is quite expensive and really, for a high end compact with a screen that can't be turned inwards for protection, Sony should have provided something like this from newvwith the camera...which they don't. Please note that this protector is correct fitting for Mark 2 A7 models and I had one for my A7II. However, for A7III you will need to apply it upside down because for some strange reason the thicker band is now on the left hand side. If you apply it as originally intended with the thicker band on the right (as illustrated) it partly blocks the icons on the display. Placing it upside down therefore also means that the Sony Logo appears upside down at the top (otherwise a perfect fit). I have recently lost mine because after three years and moving between cameras it lost it's stickiness. The newer Mark 3 protector PCK-LG1 is made of glass but unfortunately costs more than 3 times the price of

I bought this Sony product for my Sony RX100M6, and followed the fitting instructions exactly. The screen protector fitted the camera and the product was useful. However, it was obscuring the display on the right. On inspection, it turned out that the screen protector has to be applied upside down on this camera, ie the word SONY needs to be upside down, at the top (rather than the right way up, at the bottom).I now have to buy the product again, as the stickiness is damaged. I expect it will bring a smile to people's faces as they notice an otherwise efficient Sony's quirkiness!(Clearly the problem has nothing to do with the supplier, who sent the product promptly.)

I'm really pleased with this screen protector which I purchased for my Sony RX100 MIII. Although I have a carry case I tend to walk around with my camera on a strap and often get tired of taking it in and out of its case. The protector is hardly visible if carefully placed in alignment with the screen. Finger smudges do appear every now and again but I haven't had any difficulty in wiping these away. The image quality has not been effected either. I wish I had purchased this as soon as I got my camera as it would have saved the screen from a few of the superficial scratches!

What can I say that hasn't already been said in the other great reviews. It fits perfectly, easy to apply, blends into the rest of the camera and protects your screen! Job done.I was a little reluctant to spend £10 on a screen protector but when you've paid so much for a camera (Sony RX100 M4), why not spend a little extra on the official Sony branded version and get peace of mind that it was designed specifically for your camera and will be great quality.(I'd also recommend the Sony Grip for the RX100 M4/IV)

This protects the screen of those oh so precious Sony cameras, and is a breeze, without bubbles, to apply. My only pull back from the final star is because I do think Sony could/should have included the small soft cloth to ensure the screen is grease and dust free before fitting. As instructions properly say 'clean to make sure the screen is free from dust' etc, why not provide the wherewithal. Fortunately, I had a spare, unused at all cloth from another item

I bought this screen protector for my RX10 M4. Surrounding the screen there is a black border, which is wider on one side. The diagram in the instructions shows this thicker border on the righthand side with the SONY logo on the bottom edge.To fit to the RX10M4 the thicker border must be on the LEFTHAND SIDE, with the SONY logo upside down on the top edge. Otherwise the product fits easily and works well.

Item arrived in very good time and was nicely packed into a neat envelope. The fitting instructions were precise and uncomplicated. It was very easy to fit this screen protector onto my Sony RX100 ( MK1 ).....looks neat and tidy. I would use the seller again without any qualms. Will update this short review should anything occur with the product - but hey its only a screen shield. Thanks for reading.

Bought this for my brand new RX100, came well packaged and on time. Very well made as you'd expect from Sony and a piece of cake to fit. I then changed my mind on the camera and exchanged it for the MKII. I dear I thought this'll be bad trying get it off the MKI!! What a surprise I had, it came straight off and fitted straight onto the MKII no problem. Very happy with this purchase..

Purchased from Amazon at best price available - £10.00.Good quality item as you would expect from Sony, however be aware this protector will reduce the viewing area of the screen slightly, not a problem if you mostly use the viewfinder.Probably the easiest I have ever applied, can be moved on initial assembly to get proper fit with screen.

I've have bought many of these in the past. I have found them to be perfect for all my cameras. A word of warning though, make sure that the LCD screen on your camera is totally free of smears because, "Once it's on - it's on", and a smear you did not see before putting it on, believe me, drives you "NUTZ. I speak from painful experience.
