Like the previous Naruto games, this one is a beat-em up. But It has one major advantage over previous ones that it covers a new storyline, all thanks to "Naruto Shippuden".With this game you have access to 52 characters in all (being a mixture from Part 1 and 2 of the Manga/Anime). For me this is a must as when playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. I found that one of the problems is that you character count went straight back down.If your playing on your own, there's also plenty to do. With "Master Mode", you can enjoy a original Storyline aswell as the first Arc of the Shippuden Storyline. And if you feel a bit nostaligic - you can go into "Hero Mode" and relive some parts from the original story.But where is excells personally for me is being able to play it with friends.

when I Bourght this game on Amazon I thought this game was just going to be Alright but when I got this game it was alot better then I expected. the graphics for the game were amazing for the PS2 the story line is 100 percent from theAnime. there is also a hero's mode where you can play the story line's from 2 and a half years ago. one of the best games for PS2 if you are a Naruto fan and have a PS2 get this game.

This game tells a story of Naruto that takes part before Shippuden begins, moving on to the start of Shippuden.Free Battle Mode holds all the characters from the previous game, plus the ones from this game's story mode.

There are a various number of characters and a diverse number of modes!Great fun since I startedThe storyline comes from the actual comic and the fan of the comic or cartoon will love it!

good fun game for naruto fans and non-naruto fans alike.No regrets...but the story mode is too short if not, it should have gotten a 5

Good to add to the Naruto ps2 Series Collection and also one of the best fighting games I started with as a Kid.
