Ok its a basic smartphone but excellent value at £100. Make sure you set it up over WIFI, just did mine and 712mb download to update Google everything ! It may have small RAM and storage but bung in an SD card and you are away. No doubt other phones at 3 to 10 times the price are better but if like me you only require a basic phone for calls, texts, email & internet, photos etc it is more than adequate. I have no desire to watch TV on it or play games, thats what your TV is for !!!Further to my earlier review, having now used the phone for over a month, I cannot fault it as it does everything I require. It is fantastic value for money,I paid £99 for an LG Cookie in 2009 and you can now get this excellent smartphone for the same price !!!I have provided answers to various questions re this phone but potential purchasers may wish to note that an excellent instruction manual is available on the Motorola website in either PDF or HTML format.

Bought 2 of these to replace my 80 year old parents very old phones. Wanted a decent budget phone as their usage is fairly basic, and saw this had good reviews. Set up was pretty straight forward, although they would have struggled to get the back off as I did. The micro SD slot is useful to boost storage. Overall, early signs are good and they seem to be good value for money. I haven’t actually set up the fingerprint reader as this would be a bit much for my parents, so although I’ve given it 5 stars, I couldn’t actually rate it.

This is the third Motorola E series phone I have had on the trot, and all have got better and better. All have had interchangeable batteries and all would be still working had I not been so clumsy with them. The camera is far better on this one than the last and so is the clarity of the screen. Once again Motorola you have made a cracking new phone that doesn't cost the earth. Thankyou too Argos, ordered my phone Saturday afternoon and it was with me Saturday early evening, now that is service.

I get fed up of every vendor wanting a voxpop for every product bought. Honestly, if you are reading this, just stop now. You won't learn anything. My elderly mother expressed an interest in something she could see photos of her grandkids on. Solution, a smart phone. As a technophobe, I doubt she'll make much use of it though. This Motorola thingy? Cheapest one with the biggest screen. It looks identical to all the other black slab devices on the market. I just upped the privacy settings.

For the money this is a good phone, you have to take into consideration that it is not blistering fast in some apps. It Handles social media apps no problem including video calls however the only issue I had was with the camera, sometimes it will not operate straight away which I suspect is down to CPU power but when you do take pictures they are of adequate quality. Apps wise the software is a standard Android install so you are not bogged down with unwanted apps installed by Motorola.

Very good phone for the money. Chose it because; it has a removable battery; it has an LCD display (my last OLED screen suffered terrible burn-in); has a FM radio with very good sound quality. The screen is very clear and no problems with battery life. Responsive and quick. The user manual is poor; in places it seems to be talking about a different phone. I raised this with Motorola help but they did not reply; my experience of Motorola's help is abysmal. Speakerphone is very good.

It looks great and it comes with a lovely caseThe volume is loud for those who like musicLots of nice features but the camera is rubbish and makes all my photos blurry. The internet settings takes ages to sync. It took me a week to get picture messages and 3g to work.Has lots of storage space. Runs ok it isn't too slow. I love the colour It doesn't come with headphones. It's an ok phone but I won't recommend. The screen is bright which s great. Opens with a fingerprint.

Is very high quality and up to date with most phones. Camera isn't that high of quality but everything is. Runs really well and doesn't get slow. Battery life lasts the whole day before needing to be charged again. Has plenty of storage space and RAM. Mine came with a protective cases. One thing I will say though is that by default it closes apps running in the background even if it's the only app open. It also doesn't come with headphones. But overall it's great value for money.

I bought the Moto E6Plus as a gift after a lot of research. It's light but with a decent sized screen (6.1"). Good features such as finger print recognition, pretty reasonable cameras, a sharp display and the sound is really good for a budget smartphone.Browsing is quick and videos load easily with no delay. This particular one had 32gb memory (can take an sd card up to 512) so 64gb as standard would've been great, but for the price, I'm really pleased and so is the recipient.

This Motorola is at the low budget end of the price range, you don’t expect much in terms of features but as a second phone this is just what I wanted. I needed a phone with a removable battery and a decent screen and the E6 plus provides both. I didn’t expect much in the way of processing power but for the price you get everything you expect to get in a polished well made entry level phone. The screen is good, battery is good, and almost stock Android is pretty good too.

Upgraded from my Microsoft phone that was no longer supported. Setting up process was laborious and needed to have a gmail account in order to set everything up. Battery life seems quite good. Disappointed with selection of ring tones. Not certain how secure the system is, but update when reminders are given. Had to watch a YouTube video to see just how easy it is to get the back off to insert sim card and battery. Case quite flimsy. All in all, fine for the price I paid.

Good overall spec, feels like a quality build, good functions, very easy to use, more than enough power, storage and ram for my every day needs and all at a competitive price..I like the removable back for access to the battery etc, takes really good photos and the fact that it comes without too many pre-installed apps that you never use is great, you just install the ones you like.In general I am very happy with this phone and I have bought another one for my wife.

This is the second Motorola phone I've had and it's certainly one of the best. I needed a decent phone to keep in touch with family and so far this phone hasn't disappointed at all. No bloatware, very easy to setup and transfer files and settings A decent camera good enough for me, great storage and took the SIM from my old phone too which was a bonus. I'd recommend this phone for a teen wanting a versatile phone that's very well priced. Great value for money!

After phoning round several mobile shops, who only wanted to sell me expensive & contracts, I went onto the Argos helpline for assistance in choosing a simple sim-free mobile. The person who I chatted with couldn't have been more helpful, and chose 5 mobiles which suited my purpose. I bought a Motorola e plus, and am delighted with it. It does everything I want and more. My next purchase will be bought from Argos in the same manner. I can't thank them enough

This is a splendid phone for the money with all the features that the average user wants without the price tag of some of the swanky names. It is a credit to Argos that it continues to offer value for money products like this for those who don't feel it necessary to have the big names on their back or in their pocket. Parents need not fork out more than the price of the Moto E to keep their kids happily in touch with their mates, and the cameras are good.
