With so many other manufacturers with longstanding records in building gaming headsets it's amazing how a collaboration between EA and Monster could produce a product that out performs the competition in every way. The build quality is impressively smart and robust. Sound quality is more than impressive with a dynamic range that can distinguish grass crunching at your feet at the same time as explosions taking place next to you. The thick padded ear cups provide a natural way to cancel noise without unnecessary power boosters which also distort dynamic range. Mic can be swapped from left to right. Son no.2 is using this with his PS4 by connecting to the game controller.

I bought these for £95.The original price was ridiculous as is the case with most monster products.At this price though I think you are getting some great headphones.They come very nicely packaged with high quality cables.You also get a soft carry case with them.They are mainly for the xbox 360 as you get all the appropriate cables.They can be used on other consoles though and you get an inline mic cable which can be used with smartphones and also works with the new Xbox one stereo adapter to give you game and chat audio with just the single wire to the adapter.This does render the plug in mic ( which is slightly better quality)
