Very pleased with the look and function of this light fitting. The 5 bulbs throw light all around without dazzle and without much shadow. Fitting is fairly straightforward apart from the difficulty of screwing up tiny screws while working above your head. The shades feel quite flimsy and need careful handling, I put a small amount of WD40 on the threads to make them easier to screw on and off again. I bought the fitting without bulbs and ordered 5W LEDs separately, which although they tend to be physically bigger still fitted inside the shades OK. That saves 175 watts per hour and is brighter too. Hopefuly won't need to change them for many years.

I bought this unit as a replacement for a similar, earlier model. Two of the halogen bulbs had exploded shattering the shades and showering glass down on us. I noticed that other shades were also fractured and 2 others had cracks in the glass. I have changed the lamps for LEDs which are much cooler and I have also not screwed the shades all the way into the cups enabling a better flow of air through the shade. It looks good in the dining room where we have two.

Arrived with a couple of the frosted glass sleeves (that cover the bulbs) damaged. They are quite fragile so it must be expected occasionally. The seller sent replacement sleeves out quickly with no quibbles.Once fitted, the fitting looks nice That's it really. Except... use LED bulbs so you will very rarely have to change them as, like I said, the sleeves are fragile, and you won't have to touch them for years then.

Light arrived within a few days of order. There was a 6 week delay before the light was fitted & I hadn't opened it. When I did, one shade was damaged. I contacted seller & a replacement was received very quickly. Light fitted now & looks great! Ideal for lower ceilings as fits close. 5 stars for product & seller.

Great looking feature easily installed the most difficult thing I was told was fitting screws to the beams above the ceilingJust be aware the light it very white compared to older lamps makes everything look crisp

This is a nice looking light fitting. The lamp glasses are clear glass with just a small frosted 'tunnel' around the bulbs. Would be better if the lamp glasses were fully frosted, but still a nice light fitting.

Its grew on me I like the light but didnt realise the bulbs were only coverd by an opaque shape and the rest is transparent thought the globe was all opaque.

This item was as described, but unfortunately I found it did not fit into my planning. Hence, I never installed it or used it, it was returned.

We knew what we needed for the large lounge and as this has a base surround that fits flush to ceiling it looks well finished

Reasonably well made although the plastic bulb holders can get brittle with time/heat. Definitely worth the money though.
