After completing Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven (MM6) and watching a couple of Might and Magic VII playthroughs on YouTube, I thought I'd give this a go. At first glance it may appear in a similar vein to MM6 and you'd be right, it does use the same game engine, but there have been some graphical overhauls, such as the water detail, but instead of the realistic character portraits in MM6, you get CG ones instead, which are nice, but I preferred the realistic ones.Another overhaul is the potion system, giving each potion a power which made the early (red and blue) potions considerably more useful, but to offset it, the Alchemy skill restricts who can mix different potions.

I cannot belive that this game is being sold for this little amount of money! It has got real depth and hours and hours of gameplay. If you have any inclination at all towards fantasy type games involving witches, wizards, warriors and the like then do not hesitate to part with a miserly amount of cash for this outstanding game.You start off by forming your party of four, choosing the character's race, skill levels, abilities etc. and set off on an adventure in a vast landscape made up of various maps, towns, villages, seceret caves, castles, beaches with haunted lighthouses, dragons lairs. You will meet all sorts of monsters and rougues along the way, chat with friends, gather quests, trade goods,

A wonderful wonderful game that will keep you engrossed and enthralled for hours, days and weeks and unbelievably good value for money. All M&M VI, VII & VIII play in a very similar manner so once you have finally finished one you have two more excellent expeditions to look forward to...and you WILL come back for more. The secret of this game is non-linearity and a multitiude of truly challenging quests not, I may add, the type where you just get stuck because the writer makes such an obscure reference that only two other people on the planet could possibly crack. You just have to use your bonce in a manner that is demanding enough to give you real reward for your effort,

This is a great game. It has all the reality of making you the player and as though you are in the game it'self. You have to enbark on Quests and compeate in games, You have to battle with dragons, trees, dragon flys and many more monsters and insects. This is also the game that you start and never seem to stop, once you pick it up and start playing you never want to leave and stop playing. This sort of game is one of a kind and should never go out of date. There are a lot of things to do in this epic. There are spells to collect and buy, potions to make and sell,as well as a card game to play in the local tavern..... This is a must play game. If you see it get it thats my advice.

This is the sort of game that it doesn't matter how dated the graphics become because the game is a master piece. And when I say that it isn't out of sentimentality it truly is. And the game is still fully playable on modern operating systems (not sure about Windows 8).Probably only the Baldur's gate games and Might and Magic VI compare to this.

I bought this game when if first came out and have since then got through 4 copies through loaning them out. While the graphics are not up to much the gameplay and character development has a massive amount of replay value. I would be more than happy to pay over £10 for this game

it work on mypc and reel like before I oerder but I had cope of it before and disc had chack so I was looking ever where for it and when I saw you had it to oerder I jump at it and hope it work and it did I am very happy
