It seems that most of the negative reviews for this are from people who got ripped off by 3rd party sellers and got a fake. This is a review of the actual genuine produce, as shipped by Amazon themseleves.As expected this is just as good as the original filter. In my case the original was the non-Hepa version, but I figured I'd upgrade since it was due for replacement. I'm not sure if its actually any better than the non-Hepa filter or not (I never had a problem with that version either), but certainly its seems to do its job of stopping the cleaner pumping dust back out again.The cleaner feels like new again after a filter and bag change (it was undertstandably suffering a little after cleaning

This an excellent filter. As we have grandchildren who suffer from asthma and are allergic to animals it is essential to replace it regularly. We have a 19 year old pussy cat Jasper whom we keep in our back porch. But naughty Jasper sneaks into the house when we are not looking and leaves his hairs all over the place so we need such a good filter on our Miele otherwise there are lots of coughing and wheezing grandchildren when they come to stay. We are then in the "dog house" from our children or should that be the "cat house"????

It's exactly the product I needed. And contrary to previous one I had purchased at a lesser price, this is the one with the actual HEPA filter. There is another version around which does not have this feature, and it's sold at just a slighter cheaper price. But if you suffers from dust allergies, it won't work as well. So pay a bit more and get the original item. And it's a doddle to install.

I read 1 star reviews here and most are complaining regarding fake miele filter ordered from 3 rd companies here under amazon market place for under 10 quid or so.I ordered from Amazon it self for £19 and got a genuine miele part- no complaine. I have been using this type filter for several years and it does a great job.just change it once a year.

I use this with my Miele cannister C1 Powerline vacuum cleaner. We suffer from allergies at home. This has resolved the issue for us. Good value for money as it lasts for 12 months and I use my vacuum cleaner to clean hard floors and carpets at least twice a day.

These might be more expensive than copies, but you get what you pay for. My Miele Ruby's performance has improved massively since I fitted this new Hepa filter. Worth every penny.
