I bought Baby Stella for my 10 month old to help prepare her for being a big sister (she'll be almost 15 months then). I chose Stella because she is plush and huggable, but can be used to role play. Stella is heavier than she looks, but I like the weight as it makes her more realistic.My daughter loves pulling the dummy out and giving it back, and although role playing has to be in short bursts due to my daughter's age she is learning how to be gentle with a baby and (we got the feeding and changing accessories) a bit about baby needs. I hope to use Stella a bit more as new sibling approaches, but my daughter likes to cuddle Baby Stella too, so she's not just useful as a teaching tool.

I bought this doll for my baby's first birthday, and this is her first doll. I read many reviews before chosing this one. I didn't want a hard plastic doll, I wanted a slightly old fashioned doll with a modern look if it makes sense, something that my baby could hug and sleep with. I got all this and more with Baby Stella. The doll is soft and velvety, the clothes are amazing. The dummy contains a magnet and it's super easy for my daughter to put it back in Stella's mouth. It's just the right size for a small baby. I adore this doll and i would recommend it to anybody. Obviously it's down to each baby to like it or not but the product itself is really amazing,

We bought this for our daughter for her first birthday. I totally stumbled across it while looking for cabbage patch dolls ( which were totally not age appropriate, unlike baby Stella!) My daughter loves her! She sleeps with her, changes her nappy ten times a day and her clothes! She is now nearly 2 and a half. We just bought her baby Stella sweet sounds and Stella Beige. I just couldn't resist! Her father has been away for a long time and will bring them as a gift on his return! I am so excited to see her get them! The Baby Stella is soft and washable. She has a cute belly button and toes and fingers...but the real hit for our daughter is the magnetic dummy which my daughter loves!

This doll is gorgeous. Bought it for my one year old Granddaughter and it is going to be posted off to Australia ! Tempted to buy one for myself as I just keep looking at it ! Love the magnetic dummy and I shall certainly be buying the accessories at a later date . Item was delivered quickly spoilt only by Yodel carrier who left it on front doorstep 6ft away from pavement and busy main road while we were away for weekend!! How it wasn t pinched I do not know as it sat there for nearly 30 hours parcel wet thro ! And he had the cheek to put on his card hed left it in safe place in porch! We do not even have a porch!!

Not cheap, but a very attractive and appealing first doll for a small child. The "soother" appears to be a popular accessory but it's one that my granddaughter won't be familiar with and so it may not get passed on.There have been some comments about anatomical inaccuracies - this is a doll and I can't say that any problems were caused to my children by Barbie and Action Man not being fully equipped. I think that by the time the child has any gender curiosity, the doll will have been discarded. Surely not an issue as although the doll has stitching to represent toes, the poor thing has virtually nothing for fingers!The doll has lots of play potential although the Manhattan accessories seem

Bought this doll for my 18 month old grand-daughter for Christmas. She really liked it and especially the magnetised dummy as she could attach and detach very easily. Also bought the feeding set and that was a great success. She spent nearly all Boxing Day feeding Baby Stella (and my dog) with the spoon and bottle. A great doll as most other dolls are recommended for 3 plus but Baby Stella is soft and ideal for the younger child. I had not seen this doll in any other toy shop. Well done Amazon for stocking it. Would recommend this to anyone with a little girl under 3. Will be buying more of the accessories in the future!

I purchased Baby stella for my daughter's first birthday and she was an instant hit - particularly thanks to the magnetic dummy, the easy-to-remove nappy and the little tuft of hair which is perfect for my daughter to grab and drag Stella around with! My daughter is now two and a half, and still regularly plays with Stella (who surprisingly still has all her hair despite being dragged for miles!).There are a number of accessories which can be purchased to go with Stella (clothes, feeding and changing sets, toys and pushchairs), but, like Stella herself, are quite expensive, although generally well-made.

This little dolly has been purchased for my Daughters 1st birthday and i can not wait to give it to her! She is soooooo cute and such lovely little details like the tummy button and bum! Comes with a removable outfit and nappy so I think this doll is worth paying the extra for when you compare it with the fisher price (my 1st doll) for example. I also bought the feeding set to go with it to make it more fun to play with. I think I will be suggesting the outfits etc when family ask what they should buy my Daughter for Xmas! If my Daughter doesnt take to it Ill just have to play with it! Would recommend.

Santa bought Baby Stella for my 10 month old this Christmas. She is now 13 months and absolutely adores Baby Stella. She loves to share the dummy and drags Baby Stella around while she chews the dummy.This product is fairly expense as are the accessories but after much deliberation I decided to buy. Baby Stella is extremely well made and has beautiful attention to detail. Love the fact she has a belly button and cute little toes. The clothes are also well made and are easily taken off.Also purchased a sleeping bag and change mat for Baby Stella to further play as my daughter grows.

Absolutely love this and am sure my Granddaughter will too. She is only 2 but has played with friends "Dollies" so we bought her a pram and obviously she needed a baby to go with it. This is perfect for a toddler, no sharp edges, the dummy is magnetic so fits easily The clothes are fastened with Velcro and although there is a chance they will go missing am sure she will have fun dressing her new dollie, Nice soft toy and just the right size for her age. Packaged well and arrived promptly. Would definitely use this seller again and would recommend to others.

My 4 year old granddaughter was thrilled to receive this doll, together with the Baby Stella Darling Change Bag, when the new baby arrived recently. She immediately named it Dahlia 2, the baby's name being Dahlia. It gave her the opportunity to mimic all her mum's actions with the baby.The doll is a good size for a 4 year old, easy to handle, and gives hours of role play opportunities. My daughter will be adding more Baby Stella accessories as the baby grows. A really good present for a toddler when there is a new addition to the family.

I bought this doll for my daughter's second birthday and we are very pleased with it. The detail is amazing and the quality is astounding. Even the packaging is nicely done. The doll is soft and a good size, she fits in standard dolls buggies etc. The magnetic catch for the dummy and feeding bottles (which we bought separately and would recommend) is genius, my little girl loves to give Baby Stella her bottle and leave her. She gets cross with her other doll for not "holding" the bottle. Highly recommend this doll for a small girl.

I wanted a doll for my daughters first birthday and I read the reviews for both baby Stella and My first baby Annabelle. Everyone was really positive about baby Stella so I decided to go for this; a decision I have not regretted as my doughtier loves her. She is lovely and soft and my daughter is fond of giving her cuddles. She also adores feeding her with the bottle that I got in the feeding set, the magnetic system of attaching the bottle to her mouth is simple to use even for a one year old. I can't recommend this enough.

We only just received our Baby Stella doll today and I had been quite worried that it might be too small for some reason. My worries were unfounded - Baby Stella is the perfect size for our soon to be 1 year old to drag around and I can't think of a better present for her birthday than this. Baby Stella is a quirky doll with a slightly heavy bum so she can actually sit and I am very impressed that she can even bend her elbows. If our daughter isn't going to fall in love with her, no problem, she will be all mine!

Bought for my daughters 1st Birthday yesterday, they are still bonding, I on the other hand am already totally in love. I chose this doll over Baby Annabel and Chou Chou as it was appropriate for my daughters age, the magnetic dummy is a hit already. The weight of the doll is perfect, Stella is sturdy not like a soft toy and has the cutest little bottom, with dimples and the cutest belly button. I think she is fab, dont know if I can wait until Christmas to start buying the accessories!
