We chose this doll for our little boy (12mths old) for Christmas. We liked the softness of the doll and preferred it's cuteness to the (IMO) scary realistic plastic dolls. Our boy is never without his dummy so thought this was a nice feature on the doll.It seems well made, is a good size (approx30cm/12"),has a funky removable outfit and has been a hit with our little man so far.However... I was pretty taken aback by the box. This doll comes in a pink box with a picture of a little girl playing with one of the Stella Dolls. On the back of the box it says this doll will "encourage your little girl to nuture, care and roleplay". We didn't think we were doing anything groundbreaking by giving our boy the option of a doll to play with,

Not cheap, but a very attractive and appealing first doll for a small child. The "soother" appears to be a popular accessory but it's one that my granddaughter won't be familiar with and so it may not get passed on.There have been some comments about anatomical inaccuracies - this is a doll and I can't say that any problems were caused to my children by Barbie and Action Man not being fully equipped. I think that by the time the child has any gender curiosity, the doll will have been discarded. Surely not an issue as although the doll has stitching to represent toes, the poor thing has virtually nothing for fingers!The doll has lots of play potential although the Manhattan accessories seem

This was a present for my little boy's first birthday and he loves him. He can take the dummy out and put it back himself and he enjoys playing with him. I got him the bath as well so he can bath him, which is a good accessory and he 'feeds' him a toy bottle of milk. It's a shame there's not many different outfits for the boy doll so I got him a custom made sleepsuit so he can get ready for bed.I've only given it 4 stars as there were a lot of loose threads on his clothes and on one arm that all had to be cut before he could play with it as they were long enough to wrap around little fingers.

Bought this from a local shop for my daughter first birthday. Mine has a different outfit but is essentially the same doll.My daughter loves the doll and do I! The dummy magnetic and my daughter loves giving baby (we are waiting on our daughter naming her :)) her dummy and taking it off again. Stella is also super soft so perfect for cuddles! Her clothes come off and can be washed and Stella herself can be put through the washing machine aswell but on a gentle wash.Would recommend this doll to anyone really well made and easy to keep clean.

We bought this boy dolly for our daughter to come from her new baby brother on the day he was born. We ordered it only a few days before we needed it and it arrived really quickly which was a relief. She LOVES it and did not put it down for two days which is rare for a new toy! It seems pretty durable although I can imagine it will need washing quite a few times over its lifetime as all fabric but am sure that will not be a problem. Very pleased with the price too. Much cheaper than in the local shop where I first saw it!

A lovely first doll for my daughter's first birthday. We chose this one because a lot of dolls are made of hard plastic or too big and not suitable for a one year old. The Baby Stella doll is just the right size and material for a 1 year old to cuddle and love for years to come and I'm sure older children will love it too. The magnetic dummy is something my daughter enjoys playing with, although it is quite often missing from the doll as it seems to vanish into thin air a lot!

Just gorgeous! My daughter desperately wanted a doll but I waited ages to get one as I just couldn't bear to get her a plastic one or one that makes noises or eyes open and close. You know, the creepy and tacky ones. But this doll is just beautiful. It's got a beany bum that gives it weight to go under my daughter's arm. So soft and well made with lovely accessories available like the potty so my daughter can act out while learning to potty train. Highly recommend!

Lovely doll for boys or girls - my son loves this doll and likes putting him to sleep (on an oven glove!) and giving him milk from an old bottle. The magnetic dummy is a nice touch. People scoffed when I bought a doll for my boy, but they're just being a bit old fashioned and so I scoffed back at them! I'd highly recommended as it's the only toy he 'nurtures' in this way which is an essential life skill to learn (especially with a younger sibling on the way)!

We just received this - it's a Christmas present for our 9 month old daughter & I absolutely love it!It comes in a nice box, and the doll is a good size and soft but firm. I understand that the clothes are removable & the dummy is magnetic to stick to the baby's mouth.It appears to be very well made & can't wait to see my daughters face on Christmas morning. I know she will love it but I also think my 2 year old boy will too!

I bought this doll after reading recommendations on here. My daughter is nine months old and it's just perfect. Soft but not flimsy, the doll is just right for a very young child. She loves taking the magnetic dummy off the face and popping it back on again. I've had to resist buying more clothes for it as they really would be purely for my amusement - I don't think she could give a stuff what he is dressed in!

This doll is absolutely gorgeous, bought it for our Granddaughter's 1stbirthday, will definitely be buying another one for our other Granddaughter's birthday when it comes in January. It is really well made they do different dolls and lots of accessories which I am sure will help with 'Xmas presents and other birthday's. It is really light for a toddler to carry and I am sure they will both love them.

We got this for our nephew for Christmas as he is young (1.4yr), loves stuffed animals and will be a big brother soon. He loves it - especially the magnet pacifier (dummy).He puts it on and off. My daughter had been given the girl stella doll when she was a baby and it has held up well after 5 years. This was another reason we chose this doll, hopefully the quality is the same.

My 12 month old adores this doll! We'd been looking for a soft doll for him and this one does the job nicely.Three things I would change:A better nappy would be nice (it's very flimsy and fiddly for little people)It could be anatomically correct (so as not to confuse the poor child)No dummy (it went straight in the bin!)Otherwise, we have no complaints.

My one-year-old daughter likes her new doll very much. She loves to play with her pacifier , constantly pulls and inserts it.The doll is made of high-quality and pleasant to the touch materials, the best for small fingers.I would like to thank Amazon for the insanely fast delivery. the doll was delivered 4 days earlier. Definitely recommend this doll.

We are big fans of these dolls in our house. Purchased for my son's first birthday as he liked to steal his sisters (she got a pink one for her first birthday - the one with the annoying noises!). He absolutely loves it. The magnetic dummy is a fab idea as it doesn't get horribly chewed like the toy plastic ones some dolls have.
